Any cases of Feral Ghouls not being completely mindless-killing machines? Posted: 23 May 2021 03:35 AM PDT During the Battle for the airport in F4, initiate Clark claimed that the feral's were running away from the BOS. This took me by surprise because I always just assumed that feral's were mindless things that knew only to kill and eat, and yet they were smart or scared enough to know they needed to retreat. Are there any other instances in fallout where feral's either employed some sort of logic or felt any sort of fear? [link] [comments] |
The ending of Dead Money has never made any sense to me. Posted: 23 May 2021 05:14 PM PDT I can never make any sense of the lockdown, and how were able to navigate the actual casino and use the elevator, even though all of the lore suggests that it's supposed to be immobile after its initial descent into the vault. What is the process for disposing of a synth from the institute? Particularly in regards to Nick. Posted: 23 May 2021 10:33 AM PDT Nick mentions multiple times that he basically woke up on a garbage pile after he was discarded from the institute, but why would the institute throw away a perfectly functional synth into the trash of broad daylight? The institute hates "loose ends" as described by father when talking about Kellogg, and they'll even murder a dozen innocent individuals just because of this (the other vualt 111 residents being killed instead of refrozen). So wouldn't a fully operational and intelligent synth like Nick be a HUGE loose end? Is this a normal process of disposing synths or was nicks case special in some way? In that case why would they throw him in a dumpster instead of recycling him? Idk if I missed some piece of dialogue or text that explains this but any answers would be great because its a little confusing. [link] [comments] |

Who would win in either a one on one fight or a group fight? NCR trooper vs Legionnaire? Posted: 23 May 2021 12:01 PM PDT I know in the rules it goes against "who would win" but this is backed up by lore, as these two fought each other in actual Fallout lore. [link] [comments] |
Did the West Coast BOS ever make contact with the midwest? Posted: 23 May 2021 04:32 AM PDT So i've started reading more lore of the BoS and got onto the midwest chapter, and i know that elder lyons and his original expedition was meant to make contact with the midwest which obviously didn't happen, and so was curious if the midwest ever made contact again with the west coast? do we know if this happened or is it entirely up to speculation. So how are Feral Ghouls and Wendigos different? What caused one to become the other? Posted: 23 May 2021 08:42 AM PDT It obviously can't just be radiation, that doesn't make sense since every game has shown that those who are exposed to too much radiation become ghouls. So why does participating in cannibalism turn one into a Wendigo? Surely we would have seen Wendigos in other games if this was the case. [link] [comments] |
