XP glitch in Goodsprings is this old news and everyone but me knew about it or did only some people know?

    Posted: 12 Apr 2021 07:52 AM PDT

OK so today I was playing New Vegas and I was bored and tired of having to grind out levels which takes forever so I looked up how to level up fast and I came across a video showing a glitch which was

Go into the saloon when Cobb is in there follow him out speak to him to start the run Goodsprings run quest go kill Ringo report back to Cobb he'll tell you to go shakedown Chet and Doc Mitchell for supplies kill Cobb and his gang around him then go speak to either Chet or Doc Mitchell and it acts like Cobb is alive but you can keep doing it over and over again gaining tons of XP so is this ancient news or is it new to some of you

Is Caeser's Legion the faction for the people who hate Fallout: New Vegas?

    Posted: 12 Apr 2021 07:06 AM PDT

If you hate listening to the radio. Hate the NCR for being boring or something. Hate helping people, because many of their problems can be solved with bullets and yet they haven't figured that out yet. It's like...
You enter the world of Fallout, you've already played Fallout. This is boring >:C
So, for fun you go and like butcher the NCR camp near Primm. Then you butcher the NCR Outpost at the south-western corner of the Nevada. And then by the time you reach Nipton, your fury runs out and the Legion rewards you by... Gracing you with your presence?
So, you keep destroying the NCR. House is pro-NCR, you kill him. You kill Benny, because that guy shot you in the head and you have no time for his shenanigans.
And then you meet Caeser who just rewards you for doing all the murdering you did.
Then you raise your arms and ask him what he wants you to do.
Then you just speedrun the game with Caeser and end your won experience.
It just feels so logical to me.
New Vegas has the answer for the Vanilla player - NCR, Evil player - Mr House, Smart player - Yes Man and the I hate Fallout: New Vegas player - the Legion.
Now, I'm not saying that people who not pick Yes Man are stupid. I'm just saying that... It's... The Legion refers to the personality of the player, but the previous three are mostly around roleplay and maybe preferred experience? Like, you come in and you want the vanilla experience, you've beat like Mass Effect and you're looking forward towards the experience, so you pick the NCR. House is if you are feeling extra mean towards the world today. Yes Man is for the people that want to break the rules of the game. And Legion is for the people who were not paying attention probably and just want to finish the game.
Now that I think about it...
    Vanilla Experience - NCR
    Evil Chocolate - Mr House
Weird Sidestep Chocolate Pieces in Mint Ice Cream - Yes Man
    Uncaring Nutella - Legion
Yeah, that makes 10 times more sense.

was dead money inspired off the movie "cube"

    Posted: 11 Apr 2021 10:21 PM PDT

the dlc really reminded me of the movie, with its traps, its suspicion and paranoia, and betrayal, and life and death situations

This is my first playthrough of Fallout: New Vegas and I need help related to weapons

    Posted: 11 Apr 2021 01:48 PM PDT

Okay so this is the first time I'm posting something in Reddit, I'd like to ask about two weapons in the game. I have a Trail Carbine and a Hunting Rifle and I don't know which I should keep, I'm thinking about repairing one with the other because I have the Jury Rigging perk, but the problem is I don't know which I should repair.
