Why do Gary's clones from Fallout 3 just say "Gary"? Posted: 29 Dec 2020 10:11 AM PST I mean, they just say "Gary" because that is the only thing they can say like a Pokémon, or because it is the only thing they know how to speak? [link] [comments] |
Is there evidence that anyone else has the ability to use V.A.T.S? Posted: 29 Dec 2020 11:57 PM PST Okay, I know that in FO4 they created synths that have V.A.T.S. as part of their function but we don't ever see one use it. Also, we meet vault residents that were in a successful vault where they still had all their pip-boys that worked. They people we ever only see use V.A.T.S. is the player. I don't know, it seems to me like a missed opportunity from bethesda to have an enemy type that could as well use V.A.T.S. against the player, like a "oh shit, I'm not the only one" moment. Any thoughts about this? [link] [comments] |
Why is Appalachia in 76 virtually untouched by the war? Posted: 29 Dec 2020 07:32 PM PST Bit out of the loop regarding 76 and always wondered why the games world is so full of greenery [link] [comments] |
Was it ever explained how ghouls are immortal? Posted: 29 Dec 2020 02:47 PM PST I was curious if they ever explain it as I always thought it was a little odd. [link] [comments] |
Lore reason behind design changes and robots Posted: 29 Dec 2020 02:14 PM PST Why are gauss rifle, assault rifle, laser pistols and plasma guns look different from Fallout3/New Vegas to Fallout4/76 and why are assaultrons only seen in the common wealth and West Virginia and not in D.C. Also interested in the lore reason of the stealth boy design change from small to chunky [link] [comments] |
Why does Col. Autumn want to control the purifier? Posted: 29 Dec 2020 05:41 AM PST He vehemently disagrees with Eden's plan of purification via annihilation, but he also opposes the Lone Wanderer's plan for purification via salvation. So what is his deal? Just to serve as an opponent to the wanderer and a catalyst of the LW's father's sacrifice (for motivation and climax) and the Enclave's dissonance/highlight seriousness of Eden's request? EDIT: I understand he wants to rule the wastes but his staunch refusal of non-human genocide really goes against the Enclave's ideology. And other than all that, there is nothing more to him it seems. Just an excuse for a final battle and to highlight the severity of Eden's plan. FO1 and FO2 had better lore, wish they remastered them in a more FPS/Action style (fight enhancements) like FO4, The Witcher and Cyberpunk so the combat interactions would be super sweet since it is a healthy part of the game [link] [comments] |
