What's up with the assault rifles in Fallout 4? Posted: 02 Nov 2020 09:45 PM PST Regular carbines exist in New Vegas such as service rifles and All American and AK weapons like the handmade and Chinese Assault Rifle exist so why do these clunky unwieldy looking weapons even exist? How is a super mutant Behomoth created Posted: 02 Nov 2020 10:33 AM PST Are they created giant or does a normal super mutant become massive somehow [link] [comments] |
Why do most (if not all) ghouls not have a nose? Posted: 02 Nov 2020 07:21 AM PST Does the radiation do something to the cartilage in the nose or something? I think this would count as lore [link] [comments] |
Why do people drink Nuka Cola? Posted: 02 Nov 2020 02:47 PM PST Title pretty much states it. Wouldn't it be flat and warm? [link] [comments] |
How much technology is genuinely lost? Posted: 02 Nov 2020 11:26 PM PST Other then characters like Mr House and the Enclave is there anybody with access to something like a completely stocked old world library vault or archive that has schematics for things like pre war weapons consumer grade objects etc, if not then wouldn't the death of these two set humanity back decades if not centuries to reaching pre war technology? Posted: 02 Nov 2020 08:38 AM PST I mean life on the vaults seem so much better than life in the wasteland. [link] [comments] |
Western brotherhood of steel line of secession Posted: 02 Nov 2020 05:29 AM PST Is the west coast brotherhood hereditary I googled the high elders and it seems that only maxson's are high elders. But in all of the other chapters they don't seem to be run maxson's other then the east coast brotherhood under Arthur Maxson. So my question is is the west coast high elder hereditary? And is there only one high elder or are all chapters ran by different high elders? [link] [comments] |
Posted: 02 Nov 2020 03:00 PM PST I'd imagine the only way would be to outsmart him, and even then it would be a long, grueling battle. The guy could probably kill god if he felt like it, so how does a vault dweller kill him? [link] [comments] |
Posted: 02 Nov 2020 02:38 PM PST Ol' Deke is one of the most interesting characters in my opinion, not just because he's a fundamentally charming character (F4's companions were a huge improvement over F3's in my book), but he's a bit of a outlier in a lot of ways. The game seems to go out of his way to draw attention to him, down to giving him and his subplot a level of detail and nuance seen almost nowhere else in the game, and every time I reflect on that I feel like I'm missing something that makes me understand why him in particular in a game with far patchier writing on far more major plot points. Not many other companions (In F4 or otherwise) have his often very involved and subtle world interactions (i.e. the lookout post at V101, him trailing the player), not many other companions actively encourage the player to question the story they give them, and not many others invite the degree of speculation he gets from other in-setting characters. Hell, even his disguise system is a mechanic unique to him and the fact that he acknowledges other regions the player's visited is odd. He also doesn't remark on the Spouse's corpse and has a incredible amount of lines vouching for the player. The guy sticks out -- It's obvious he's a much bigger deal than the game lets on, yet we're never really given much of a hint as to why and the clues we're given never really build up to anything. What's with him? It kind of seems like "He's John D. and he's the puppetmaster behind the Sole Survivor's release" would be the payout to all this, yet the matter never actually gets so much as mentioned outside the PAM terminal so far as I can tell. He's almost just kind of seems out of place in the context of Fallout 4's writing style as a whole. It's weirdly conspicuous. Was he supposed to play a bigger role in a earlier iteration of the plot, perhaps? [link] [comments] |
How'd that behemoth in the capital building get inside Posted: 02 Nov 2020 11:06 AM PST |
Posted: 02 Nov 2020 02:01 PM PST On the entrance, first floor before using the elevator, there is a computer there, if you use science, it gives you 1200xp and talks a bit about some "secret base" in the log... talking about some area north-east... I did not found any information about this on the wiki, any idea if this is related with something? [link] [comments] |
Why do some ghouls appear to have completely dark pupils or some have normal-ish looking eyes? Posted: 02 Nov 2020 10:53 AM PST I was making my rounds through good-neighbor as I usually do, talk to Irma to advance the Main story, talk to Edward deegan to pickup the cabbot family quest line , go pay a visit to the vault-Tec rep and tell him to go to sanctuary, and that's were I noticed. Edward deegan and vault tec rep ghoul have extremely different eyes , Edward looks like he's high on Weed but vault tec rep guy has completely dark pupils. And I was wondering why. We can't rule it out based on, "they were ghoulified at different times." Because we know they are prewar ghouls. And that's all I got, sorry . I'm not expecting an answer why, that's why I labeled it an discussion. [link] [comments] |
Possible connections of the main characters throughout the Fallout series Posted: 02 Nov 2020 11:30 AM PST Is it possible that the lone wanderer, the courier, the vault dweller, the chosen one, and the sole survivor, and every other main character throughout the fallout series has some sort of connection with each other? (i.e. they are the same person or they are related to each other like a family) [link] [comments] |
