Is there a lore explanation for the uniformity seen in the fallout universe? Posted: 13 Nov 2020 01:33 PM PST There are like 4 types of car, 1 type of pickup truck, 1 type of fan, 1 brand of cleaning product, a single type of screwdriver, I could go on for a while I understand that of course, from a dev prespective, it would be tonnes of work to create a more diverse set of items and pther entities in the game, but is there a lore explanation for this uniformity? It reminds me somewhat of the uniformity in the soviet union, where there was only a few options for any product, sometimes only a single option. [link] [comments] |
Why is Europe merged with Africa? Posted: 14 Nov 2020 04:19 AM PST If you inspect the globe junk item in Fo4 or 76, you can see that Europe is attached to North Africa and some of Asia is linked to the Eastern Coast of Africa as well. Why is this? I know canonically European countries invaded the Middle East and (maybe?) some of Africa for more resources, but this doesn't explain massive continental drifts linking them. The globe item might be the only case of this "mistake" but any answers would be greatly appreciated. [link] [comments] |
How did the Boomers managed to get the 1947 B-29 aircraft to fly? Posted: 13 Nov 2020 03:03 AM PST Realistically speaking, shouldn't it be filled with rust already, or perhaps too far gone to even function after 200 years of being underwater? Let's say the Boomers got some materials in the base to somehow fix the vehicle, HOW DO YOU POLISH RUST?? [link] [comments] |
