I've always been a big fan of the anti material rifle and playing it sneaky, but I'd like to know what some other people pull out for the big boys.

Finally bought the game on PC and having trouble with the NCM not appearing in the game

    Posted: 13 Nov 2020 11:58 AM PST

I have the FOV slider mod aswell as Just vanilla sprint but MCM still isn't in the pause menu, even though it had that little message in the corner: Mod configuration menu installed when I started the game. I didn't have UIO installed initially but do now, and I'm using Vortex for all of my mods. Things like smooth iron sights are working but nothing that would use the MCM

    Ragrets

I've owned New Vegas since it released back on the 360, I've beat all the DLC's multiple times, have built multiple characters...... but I've never beaten the base game, once, never gotten to the battle of the dam... I get bored of my builds, stop playing and when I come back I decide to make a new character and repeat

New Vegas Bounties 3 social commentary.

I like the whole story, some parts can be a bit repetitive but there's some good lore in it. But now I'm on the third part, with Virgil, and he's striking me as a libertarian troll...

"people don't respect each other, they're just weak and need protection"

"There are no morals, it's fake and bullshit"

The guy condones brutal slaughter and only thinks about it twice when he feels like trolling someone "ohhh you're mad! I must have struck a nerve!" honestly, his lines are straight out of the internet trolls' guidebook. The whole questline has a Willpower theme, but at times it slides to "caring about no one but myself IS willpower".

Virgil, my dude, you lack empathy and love projecting, case closed.

    Render Unto Caesar fuckery

    Posted: 13 Nov 2020 09:23 AM PST

I hate that you can miss out on this - and it's happened again because I forgot it's happened on a previous playthrough years ago.

Did every quest that foiled Caesar's plans just to see him rage at me - then noticed Alerio never shows up after exiting the Tops. Turns out I'd stealthily got and failed the Beware the Wrath quest at some point. Now I can't even have my talk before I off Caesar.

Tried a whole bunch of console commands, reset quests, spawned Alerio, enabled his scripted dialogue so he'd run up and talk to me - nothing. Tried spawning testacles the debug centurion npc to change things through there - nothing.

This is absolutely the biggest thing to piss me off about the game and there isn't even a mod for it. They should have made it impossible to fail Wrath/Render before you even exit the Tops. What's the point of killing Vulpes, breaking up the Khans alliance, retaking Nelson or stopping the Omertas' plot if I can't talk to Caesar about it? Wasn't the mark supposed to wipe the slate clean?

Sure, I can add the Mark, reset Wrath and start Render via the console, but everyone at Cottonwood is still hostile.

The tard of a developer that made the Render quest impossible to start deserves to be stoned. I don't even feel like continuing my save anymore.

Fuck this utter bullshit. Rant Over.

The weirdest thing has happened for two years now

    Posted: 12 Nov 2020 06:39 PM PST

New Vegas will randomly stop reading on my Xbox one after a month or so. Then I get mad and go back to Skyrim. Then after a month that stops reading.

Today Skyrim stopped reading and I put New Vegas in and boom new playthrough.

I made a flag for the White-Legs from Honest Hearts, and the Nanjima Revolutionary Socialist Republic from the Project Brazil mod. Both are unofficial material.

    Space Marine-like Build?

    Posted: 12 Nov 2020 05:25 PM PST

Yo, been trying to get into Warhammer and noticed that the Brotherhood of Steel reminds me a lot of the big beefcakes that make up a FAT CHUNK of the 40k universe. Soooooo yall got any recommendations for a Tank that just screws over everything?
