For those who want a passive companion without using mods Posted: 30 Oct 2020 04:58 PM PDT Creating a mister handy torso without any eyes will make your robot entirely passive, if you equip resistance/regeneration field it feels like support butler drone [link] [comments] |
Fallout 4 Alternate Ending Idea Posted: 30 Oct 2020 05:57 PM PDT Anyone else bothered that the Minutemen leave a huge crater in the middle of the Commonwealth? I could see the BOS doing that and not caring, but not the Minutemen. I would love if The Minutemen could let the Railroad take the Institute and get out of their shitty, nasty crypt. The Railroad could use the Institute to zap synths out of the Commonwealth safely. It would be an interesting mod, in my opinion. [link] [comments] |
Was the Enclave always planning to eliminate all non-members? Posted: 30 Oct 2020 03:53 PM PDT So I imagine the Enclave at first was on the Oil-Rig and wished to reclaim America, where they always planning on eliminating all people that are not members or is it due to the average person having mutations. Further from this, what is the point of the various vault experiments, why not just have the vaults ensure loyalty and just get the vaults to open in the 2100s, with the Enclave there to meet them and allow them to join, that seems like it would provide at least some potential recruits that they could consider to be non contaminated by the war? Posted: 30 Oct 2020 07:55 PM PDT There is such a big buildup to that moment. You've cracked the teleportation tech, you are about to go alone into the heart of the boogeyman of the wasteland, presumed to be hostile, but nope! No prep necessary. Unless you choose to slaughter all of them on sight of course. I felt a little silly having that big plot moment with Shawn while hopped up on chems in giant power armor and holding a minigun. A way to deal with burrowed radscorpions or any other burrowers Posted: 30 Oct 2020 08:38 PM PDT So idk if it's a bug or if is it just radscorpions being radscorpions but sometimes they remain burrowed for way too long, so equip Tesla coils to your power armor get close to the hole and they will instantly pop out if they don't fry the uglies to crisps in their hole [link] [comments] |
Anyone want to say what they liked about fallout 3? Posted: 30 Oct 2020 07:16 PM PDT I've been replaying all of the fallouts these past couple of months. I'm on new vegas right now after completing 3. This was my first time completing 3. I felt like 3 was a pretty great fallout game, and a great addition to the franchise. Though, I don't really like 3. I never have and i've tried, but found myself just getting bored of it. I think my favorite part of 3 was it's atmosphere, I know everyone says this, but god damn they did the atmosphere right. I also really liked the gunplay, it felt unique not having iron sights. I don't understand how people say the combat is clunky. Maybe it's just because I'm used to clunky controls and older games. [link] [comments] |
Posted: 30 Oct 2020 11:22 PM PDT Hey, in Fallout 76 you can come visit my camp throughout the day for the next couple weeks for Halloween! There'll be a short puzzle, then you can take whatever you wish! Mostly plans and ammo, please take one (or if you choose ammo take 10). I of course won't be playing all the time, but I'll play as much as I can. Just join @SpiritualTaco05 on Xbox Live's world, and get free stuff. HOPEFULLY this isn't marked as self promo, just have a lot of stuff I don't need and I thought this would be a fun way to get rid of it. [link] [comments] |
Posted: 30 Oct 2020 08:53 PM PDT Bethesda posted some Fallout themed pumpkin stencils, so I thought I'd give one a try. https://imgur.com/gallery/btx9nGb Happy Halloween, fellow Wastelanders! [link] [comments] |
(Feedback Wanted) United We Stand - Minutemen Poster Posted: 30 Oct 2020 09:42 PM PDT There are two different iterations, tell me which one you like best. Thanks for the feedback! [link] [comments] |
Is my fallout 4 character bad? Posted: 30 Oct 2020 08:05 PM PDT I used the bos to kill the railroad and institute, I used the minute men to kill the bos, then I killed the minute men [link] [comments] |
New Rule: All Guns going forward must let me put shark faces on them Posted: 30 Oct 2020 10:22 PM PDT Playing Fallout 4, and I really like the creation club hot rod weapon skins, (I didn't buy them, I just got the free monthly ones), and I think that in the future all guns should be able to be painted in flames, pink, or shark faces as a standard feature. New Vegas - For the Republic Part 2 Great Khans resolution and ending slide Posted: 31 Oct 2020 03:43 AM PDT So upon passing the Speech check with Papa Khan telling him his "tribe is strong - claim your own glory" (I.e. they leave the Mojave), For the Republic Part 2 updates and tells me to tell Colonel Moore that the Great Khans have been destroyed (when they obviously haven't). At the same time, the game tells me to go tell Yes Man that the Great Khans will leave the Mojave. As I'm wanting to follow the NCR path, does reporting back to Colonel Moore and telling her the Great Khans "won't be a problem anymore" make the Great Khan end-game slide the one where I destroyed them, or is this just a dialogue bug? Thoughts on the Fallout Amazon Show? Posted: 30 Oct 2020 11:54 PM PDT What do you want from the show? Stuff you want them to avoid? Setting? Characters? Story? Going to respond to every comment I see [link] [comments] |
Where to find best fallout 4 stealth/ranged quests? Posted: 30 Oct 2020 05:56 PM PDT So this is meta as hell but I been playing fallout 4, I'm level 20 now. My favorite way to play is stealth and sniping, what plotline is the best for stealth? Where do I go to initiate that plotline? Like I said, I know it's super meta, and don't spoil anything, but I'm feeling like getting straight to the meat and potatoes. Edit: I should clarify, I don't want the best loot or armor or whatever, I want a plotline that is the most built for stealth. That's my point. A thieves guild or dark brotherhood plotline, if you will. [link] [comments] |
Posted: 30 Oct 2020 10:20 AM PDT I don't know about you but I feel like I would have preferred a system that allowed you to upgrade settlements (Walls being Constructed, Turrets being set up, and gates being made). This is probably because I am a perfectionist and can set up a settlement without feeling something off. Your Thoughts?. [link] [comments] |
What do you think the Amazon show will be about? Posted: 30 Oct 2020 08:37 AM PDT Will it be about the Vaults? The NCR? The Commonwealth? Will it be a weekly series where Preston Garvey sends someone to a new settlement that needs help?! 😅😬 I want to hear your hopes and dreams! 😊 [link] [comments] |
Posted: 30 Oct 2020 10:12 PM PDT I'm about to play Fallout: New Vegas for the first time. Is there anything I should know before going in? [link] [comments] |
Posted: 30 Oct 2020 10:02 PM PDT Could it potentially be repaired and operated like the Vegas Strip seeing as it is the largest building in Boston? [link] [comments] |
Fallout 4 indoor framerate dip issue Posted: 31 Oct 2020 01:42 AM PDT As soon as i walk inside a building, my framerate screeches to a halt. It becomes basically unplayable and is extremely unresponsive. I don't know if it's a microstuttering issue, and im playing on an igpu equivalent of an mx230 (intel g7) [link] [comments] |
How do I make a passive robot? Posted: 31 Oct 2020 01:01 AM PDT So I'm restarting my Xbox play through and I want to make an Automaton that just follows you with the healing field. What parts will make it not rush at enemies with unrelenting fury? [link] [comments] |
How do I play Fallout 4 with low carry weight? Posted: 30 Oct 2020 07:03 PM PDT I'm perfectly capable of playing Skyrim with a low carry weight and only picking up essential items. It's my preferred way to play. But with Fallout 4 I can't wrap my head around it. Every item is potentially useful for crafting. And I don't really want to make a bajillion trips back and forth to loot everything. How do you decide what to pickup? [link] [comments] |
Posted: 31 Oct 2020 12:48 AM PDT So I don't have many details down but just a basic thought, a fallout game based in china near say beijing or nanking. I think the cultural differences and the polar opposite views of america would make a whole new style of gameplay and aesthetic. Thoughts and ideas lemme know. Edit: (Idea) it will take place maybe 12 years after the bombs dropped so 2089 in beijing so the events are fresh in the mind of the people of china. [link] [comments] |
