Posted: 11 Sep 2020 10:31 AM PDT Im more focusing on the Capital Wasteland and Commonwealth, but did the NCR know that other states were either dimminished or or thriving and about Boston and D.C? One would think that with the technologies they had, although still being less superior then East BoS, they would try to expand or look for other states with human, ghoul, or mutant life regardless of their opinion on the latter two. I mean, yeah, its still 2700ish miles across and I read that the NCR most likely didnt know of them, it's still possible for them to recon other states by picking up or seeing vertiberds or the Prydwen in nearby eastern states. If it was possible for Kellog to travel from West to east after some time, the NCR would sure be able to do something that a mercenary with whatever training and knowhow that was thrown at him did. And is there any canon references that say why the NCR didnt expand or send recon groups out other than because of there not being enough resources to do so? [link] [comments] |

How many vaults are there in the wasteland? Posted: 11 Sep 2020 07:10 PM PDT Just 122 vaults like the fallout bible says? Is that canon? [link] [comments] |

How do the Enclave no know where Vault 101 is? Posted: 11 Sep 2020 05:54 PM PDT In Fallout 3, depending on your choices with Vault 101 and Trouble on the Homefront, there's a random encounter where 2 Enclave Soldiers are interrogating Amata on the location of Vault 101, shooting her when she gives up the info. Since the Enclave has access to Vault-Tec records and are the descendants of the US Government, shouldn't they already know where all the Vaults are? [link] [comments] |
Posted: 11 Sep 2020 05:47 PM PDT I was doing the High School Infiltration Test in Old World Blues and out of the 3 Student Files you need to get, one name stands out, Cherie O'Bannon. Richie Marcus and Betsy Bright are mentioned unfavorably and constantly by Dr. Borous, but there's nothing about this Cherie person. Also, Cherie's file is the only one that's portrayed positively on the terminals, unlike Richie or Betsy's files, which show failing grades and getting into trouble. [link] [comments] |
Immigration from the wasteland to the NCR Posted: 11 Sep 2020 05:28 PM PDT Is there any mention of immigration from the wider wasteland into NCR territory? Considering the density of raider tribes and the 'density' of violence, we could suspect that every year some low thousands of people would be uprooted from their homes. I don't recall hearing of that kind of population movement in any of the Fallout games. It seemed like the people of places like Rivet City or Megaton were always there. We know that Kellog was somehow able to make it from the west to the east coast. So it isn't impossible. Regardless of the danger, we know that people are willing to travel crazy distances to get themselves and their loved ones to safety (ex: Tibetian refugees walking to India, North Koreans escaping to the South, poor Central Americans walking to the US, etc). I know that if I heard of a large, relatively stable state, I'd do what I could to move there. If there isn't any mention of this in the lore, it would be a somewhat decent reason for the low population density in the wasteland 200 years after a nuclear war. [link] [comments] |
