Posted: 04 Aug 2020 11:19 AM PDT Every time I try to alt tab from my game, reopening it causes it to the a small back bar that doesn't reopen. Wondering if anyone has a fix or a mod that works. [link] [comments]

I'm confused about Ulysses (I'm very late to the party lol) [Spoilers] Posted: 03 Aug 2020 11:39 PM PDT Ok so this is a man who cares a lot about history. He even says to the think tank "Who are you who do not know your own history?" and yet he seems to know nothing about Pre War US. He bears its flag on his back (Im assuming that he intends to honor the US by doing so because he wore it on his back before even reaching the Divide). But if he knew anything about Pre War US he should know that it was just as bad as the NCR if not somewhat worse (Vault Tec, FEV, Enclave, Big MT, etc.). Furthermore, if he intends to wipe the slate clean, why is he only nuking the NCR? I understand that the Legion will die out once it destroys the NCR, but why not wipe the slate quicker and nuke both of them? Additionally, why does he need the Courier at the silo to do all this? It would have been so much better to just launch the nukes, then have a show-down somewhere else with the Courier. He said something about needing ED E, which I'm kind of confused about. Couldn't he have gotten ED E himself, or stolen ED E much sooner (Since you can see Ulysses at certain parts before the ending)? Courier wouldnt have known where the silo is if he just took ED E and ran off. Also, why doesnt he like the BOS? I suspect that theres not an answer for this since I only heard him mention it once, but I'll just ask anyways in case there is one. If the BOS was stronger, the NCR wouldnt have had the chance to nuke the Divide. The whole idea behind their faction is that they should prevent people (Like the NCR) from using technology to hurt people. So does he not like the BOS because of its ideology or because its ineffective, considering that it's getting wrecked by the NCR? If he dislikes it because its ineffective, then why would he have a US flag on his back? They've been actually destroyed, they're even more ineffective than the BOS. Or does he dislike it because it's similar to feudalism in Europe despite them not having a flag or ideology based on the Old World? Also why does he think that nukes will change anything? Last time nukes dropped people tried to copy the Old World, why would people stop doing it this time? Surely he understands that farther east and north there will inevitably be other groups trying to copy the Old World? Lastly, can someone explain to me what the significance about the name Ulysses is? When asked about it he talks about how Ulysses Grant survived during the Civil War then died due to sickness afterwards and he says that it is an important lesson to remember. I dont understand what he was getting at, I thought that he expects new life to emerge in the Wasteland after the war is over and both NCR and Legion are gone? Or is he talking about how Legion will grow "sick" after their war is over? [link] [comments]
