An Observation on Mole Miner Anatomy Posted: 26 Jul 2020 04:26 PM PDT Earlier today while messing around with Nifskope, I noticed something interesting about Mole Miners that I don't think has really been explored yet. As seen here, their bone structure is proportional to their size, which is curious given bone size usually doesn't reduce in adult humans. Mutations such as Bird Bones in Fallout 76 would indicate that mutation can cause bone atrophy, but a specific reduction in size is curious. As we've yet to get a clear look at a mole miner under their suit, it's hard to say what the exact nature of their mutation is; whether it's the kind that creates a species (such as tunnlers or trogs), or closer to ghoulification. Either way, it's something to think about. [link] [comments] |
Difference between ghouls and scorched? Posted: 26 Jul 2020 09:56 PM PDT I've been playing 76 more recently and wanted to known if there is a difference at all? And while I'm at it, are any of the cryptids real and not just mutated animals [link] [comments] |
Posted: 26 Jul 2020 06:14 PM PDT They capture slaves by locking them in explosive collars, but they could run out eventually. [link] [comments] |

is there a custom terminal maker in the fallout universe Posted: 27 Jul 2020 12:14 AM PDT is there a custom terminal maker or everything is controlled by robco? [link] [comments] |
Posted: 26 Jul 2020 08:00 PM PDT We see Shawn as a boy given to the institute with him being around his 40 so why is Shawn an old man but Kellog is still the same age? [link] [comments] |
Why did the FO developers opt for nonsensical calibers and weapons? Posted: 27 Jul 2020 01:56 AM PDT I have been playing fallout since 1996, and since the 10mm pistol there was always a need for "unrealistic" calibers, but FNV made it better. And then came F4....Anyone else frustrated to see the 357 gone from F4, even though in FNV it was nicely done (even accepting the .38 ammo)... and also, energy weapons which are all... superfluous. Why every new Fallout has to have a bunch of ridiculously unrealistic weapons (tesla cannon, fat man, gauss rifle, alien blaster, 14mm pistol... the way too powerful .223 pistol from F1 and F2), and yet it has no 9mm pistols, no AK-47s, 357 revolvers, no anything which uses 5.56... all of which make the bulk of weapons actually existent in the world. Why has this been the way the guns are developed in Fallout? FNV offered several steps in the right direction but... and also, we should have seen bows and crossbows. Is there anything in the lore or common sense which would warrant such departures from reality? [link] [comments] |
When did Shaun get taken to the institute? Posted: 26 Jul 2020 03:09 PM PDT In the main story mission where we go into Kellog's memories, we see him at his home in diamond city with young shaun (10 years old I think) and he is taken by a courser. It should be 50 years ago but diamond city radio is playing with Travis Miles and he mentions Piper. Also courses weren't around then were they? When does this actually happen? Is Shaun a synth or is it just an error? [link] [comments] |

Who exactly is worshipping Maxson as a Deity on the west coast? Posted: 26 Jul 2020 10:13 PM PDT It was said that the west coast is suppressing cults that have worshipped maxson as some sort of deity ? Brotherhood members worshipping maxson ? I can't imagine west coast brotherhood soldiers doing that to be honest. [link] [comments] |
