    oasis quest

    Posted: 22 Jul 2020 06:03 AM PDT

what did you do for this quest and how do you explain what decision you came to?

personally i choose to make the influence of the tree grow because eventually there will not be enough materials anywhere to build a house from the rubble they would need to make new materials but then the problem of what material arrives. metal is difficult to mine. wood isn't. the only problem is deadwood is useless for this and to add to the point of if there is a lot of trees that means animals would have another food source and somewhere safe. this could mean people can easily get food instead of fighting for what will eventually run out.

tdlr: the tree still being alive and spreading fast could make the wasteland a safe place for both animals and humans providing both a safeish food source and building materials to rebuild the world

    ID for Deputy Weld's Head?

    Posted: 22 Jul 2020 04:33 AM PDT

I'm a fairly new Fallout 3 player and i'm loving the game so far, i entered the series with Fallout 4 and while i prefer that game due to how customizable it is i think Fallout 3 defiently has better mechanics and roleplaying oppritunities. Speaking of which i'm playing as an evil character who blew up Megaton for a Tenpenny Suite, and I found Deputy Weld's head on the ground, and found out you could carry it around. (Not in your inventory, by holding the Z button like with the intro-toys or dead bodies.) I thought he'd make a good/funny trophy for my Suite and just wanted to know if his head-form has an console command i can use to spawn him in my room.

    PC Help

    Posted: 21 Jul 2020 08:33 PM PDT

I am getting back into fallout on my new PC, but I've had one major problem in both Fallout 3 and New Vegas, when in the wasteland the textures, buildings and other LOD objects pop in closer than I remember and it causes a good amount of stutter. I have all the recommended fixes and mods installed for performance but have the same issues.
