Why are some Ghouls feral? While others are pleasant?

Is this to do with chance? Or how much radition you are exposed to? Or is this to do with the type of person you were before being irradiated?

How come Vegas is so popular in the NCR even though they already have New Reno !

    Posted: 14 May 2020 08:53 PM PDT

I mean sure, Vegas is Vegas and the 3 families are cool and all that, but from I know, New Reno has been well established and running for much much longer than New Vegas, and Bruce Isaac says that the Sharks club is fancier than the Tops. Also services like drugs, prostitution...etc. Are a lot more "organised" in Reno than Vegas.

Not to mention, NCR controlled Reno should have a much much more "warmer" relationship with the NCR government than House controlled Vegas, right ? So how come everyone is just dying to get to Vegas ? And how big of an impact would you say Vegas had on New Reno ?

Do legion officers have families ?

    Posted: 14 May 2020 10:35 PM PDT

So, from what I know about the legion, there is no real "family units" within it, there are breeding camps and the legionaries have breeding quotas they must hit to keep legion numbers up and all the kids are raised by the priestesses of Mars before they start their training for whatever role they'll play when they're old enough.

At the same time we hear multiple times in the game that captured/enslaved women get sold to as "officer wives" to legion officers (I'm guessing by officers they mean centurions), which implies that legionnaires, or at least higher ranking ones, have families with wives and perhaps even their own kids.

So do legionnaires actually have families or is an "officer's wife" just a nicer way of saying she's his own private breeding slave ?

What exactly are the marked men?

    Posted: 14 May 2020 02:59 PM PDT

They seem to act like ghouls with how they are made with radiation from the divide and heal from it like ghouls but they don't attack like ferals using guns and other weapons, they seem to be like the ncr ghouls at searchlight. Are they just ghouls without skin?

    Is Creation Club Canon?

    Posted: 14 May 2020 08:12 PM PDT

I used to think it wasn't up until today when I saw the new fallout 76 roadmap and the article that came with it. It was talking about seasons for fallout 76 and particularly that the first season was captain cosmos theme. The Inside the vault article mentions some rewards you can get for doing the season and the captain cosmos power armor skin was a reward. It looks almost identical to the captain cosmos power armor in the creation club creation. So now I'm confused and would like y'alls opinion.

Does Star Wars exist in universe?

    Posted: 14 May 2020 07:47 PM PDT

I'm wandering the CW with GNR playing, and Three Dog was talking about how he just thought that Eden's recordings were just old pre recordings and that the Enclave didn't exist anymore. Then he said he realized he was wrong when he saw those "devil headed Stormtroopers" or something similar to that. I've never caught that before. Was just wondering if there are any other Star Wars references in the games

Does anyone know what life would have been like for a graduate of Vault-Tec University prior to the great war?

    Posted: 14 May 2020 03:35 AM PDT

So I'm working on fleshing out some details for my Fallout 76 character's background, namely his parent's background before they entered the vault. I have the general details down, father born in Point Pleasant, mother born in Welch, went to VTU where they met, etc, etc. However I do have to wonder, what would life have been like for two VTU medical graduates between 2071 and 2077. VTU seemingly only really taught programs related directly to how to work in the environment of a vault, and while I imagine they would've learned enough to find work at any number of medical facilities, are there any which would be feasible for them to have gotten into Vault 76 on October 23rd as the Great War started?

Yes, I know these details are literally the least important thing, but I'm obsessive about minor details and any assistance would be appreciated.
