I still had a bunch of the Mysterious Serum on me and noticed when I went to save Andre a tab popped up that let me know I could use it to save him. Did anyone else know you can do this? Posted: 14 May 2020 02:47 AM PDT How do i get him down? he was walking to the speech at the wall so i cant push him off, i've tried the get the fudge down rifle mod but it won't give me it! tried all versions of AWKCR and still won't give me it. i can't do anything without shooting him and becoming hostile to everyone permanently, anybody got a fix? i tried talking to him but it says he is busy (due to him going to the wall speech) i even tried to launch him with the Lorenzo artifact rifle but that turned everybody hostile as well. I'd spent quite a bit of time playing and doing as much as I could because I don't plan on playing it again for a while. I was finally at the end and was at the top of the Enclave mobile base (Broken Steel). I was rushing through the ending and not paying attention and I accidentally blew up the Citadel instead of the base. Idk why, but reading "Citadel" made me think that was the name of the base. | Posted: 13 May 2020 10:38 AM PDT Finished a speedy build of "A Light Shining in Darkness" from Fallout New Vegas. Yes, I know some details are wrong but this was the most compact looking 1911 I could find to replicate the Officer version. I wish my vinyl cutter could cut the center of the letters better but this thing is already so small so I can't blame it for it not holding on. And painting the snake skin onto a grip that doesn't have snake skin designs is difficult. Also it was just a $6 pistol so not too shabby! [link] [comments] |

Posted: 13 May 2020 11:32 PM PDT In the mural at the Museum of Freedom there is a guy in power armor holding a gun, it seems to be a type of heavy weapon, most likely gatling, but I can't seem to recognize it. I'm only really asking since I want to make a CO2 gun that is exactly like it. Little side question - is there anything in lore talking about the Sea of Tranquility? | Power Armor is completely OP because of the redesigned of F4 and it is a good thing Posted: 13 May 2020 02:56 PM PDT With bethesda's new power armor design they accidentally made them absolutely overpowered or maybe they knew what they were doing I don't know. -Dimension of the PA based on the in-game model of F4 and F76. For exemple the t45 in the lore is made of armored steel and judging by the game model it's easily 1.5 or 2cm thick on the legs arms and the head for maybe 5 or 6cm for the torso if the thing has some sort of machinery inside, if not then you have a 10cm thick steel plate in front of your lungs and heart. -effects of different caliber on steel If the standard t45 used by the military and the BoS for low ranking soldiers is made of steel and is 2cm thick then it can easily take a standard 308, 7.62, 5.56, or any low caliber bullets to the head and shrug it like it's nothing, your only enemy is 50cal (laser and plasma too because they melt the armor but let's talk about normal firearms for now) and even for a 50cal sniper rifle it's hard to hit such a low profile target and if the 50cal is not at the very least an AP round the PA will still be able to take it. -Use of 50cal weapons in modern warfare A lot of people do not understand how 50 cal weapons are used, they imagined this NCR veteran ranger walking around with his rifle taking shot as if it weighed the same weight as a M16 but no, it's usually a very big gun wich means it's hard to move with it, its hard to change position when your target change position and it's harder to shoot standing up, this rifle weight in the 14kilos, but most of the time it's not even used against infantry but light armored vehicles. -shooting a 50 cal in real life It is hard to fire it wich mean that a small target like a 2m tall soldier in PA can go into cover (because yes US soldiers and BoS paladin use cover) and yes a PA is not that big your profile is not so different compare to a normal infantry man your maybe 1.5times bigger and your armor make you a 2m tall target but again it's still considered small profile. -how to easily avoid the sniper to shoot Another point against the use of 50 cal sniper rifle against Power armored soldiers is the use of heavy weapons like minigun, plasma caster or Laser Gatling for suppression fire. A sniper can't shoot his weapons if from the 5 man squad of BoS knights one of them decide to shoot his minigun at you for 10 sec and during those 10sec the rest of the team find cover then the next knight also shoot his minigun for 10 sec so that the first one can find cover. -Lore contradiction Another thing yes I know in fallout 1 and 2 the t51b description says that it can take 2.5kj of impacts before taking any significant damage, but that's not how firearms and bullets work (and pretty much any old lore on power armor strength can be considered retcon if we look at the new design making them bulkier, yes bulkier not just vehicles, and the introduction of fusion core wich already retcon the lore about being able to last 100year non-stop). For exemple a 7.62x39 bullet is bigger than a 5.56 and hit harder but 90% of the time the standard American AR15 will go through armor and other material far more easily than an AK because it's just a faster bullet, the faster the bullet the better the penetration, size his important too but the bigger the bullet the heavier it his and then you lose in speed. Yes the AK will make the concrete brick explode but you want to wound the enemy not destroy a brick wall for the fun. -how to beat or destroy a power armor So the conclusion is that the only true enemy of a power armored soldier is a fuckton of guns shooting at the same dude wich means that at some point 1st class franck of the NCR military will take a shot in the joint of the armor of paladin McBallsOfSteel making him lose his plasma caster and then 50 other guy shoot him in the dick. -explosives are very effective. Frag Grenade and other explosion type weapons like rocket launcher can wound or kill the soldier inside the armor, they have a better chance of injuring the soldiers because of all the shrapnel that goes through the joint of his legs and his arms or just because an rpg hit like a fucking truck on psycho. This is my thoughts on the new power armor design let me know if you think the same or if you think that all that I said is pure horse shit I will link a few videos to show you how a 50bmg really affects a steel plate first a 50 cal vs a 1inch/2.5cm thick armored steel plate probably the same kind of metal than the t45 and a 50 cal AP round vs 3/4 inch (2cm) thick stainless steel plate this come at a close second for the material used in the t45.
