Reeb Marina: the dangers of slerping.

So Reeb Marina was a place I have never really investigated until a recent play through. I needed all the scrap I could get so I took the time to look around. After taking care of the bloodbugs and noticing some curiously passive Mr. Handys I went inside and decided to actually take the time to read the terminals. What I found was a hilariously dumb short story about twins who couldn't stand each other. If you want a good chuckle check this place out. It reminded me of the terminals one could find in NV or F3 that had funny stories tucked away.

What do we know about the Midwest US?

    Posted: 20 May 2020 08:14 PM PDT

Fallout mainly focuses on the East and West coasts, which is fine and dandy. Us flyover states are like the middle child. So....what little DO we know about the Midwest? What is canon? What is non-canon, but doesn't particularly contradict canon? Any and all crumbs of info are appreciated!

Is the power armor station really a "power armor station" or is it a general-purpose heavy duty mechanical hoist system?

Concerning The Myopia of Enclave Doctrine

    Posted: 20 May 2020 04:20 PM PDT

In Fallout 1 and 2, the antagonists both have blind spots as to the viability of their plans. With the Master, it is their (yes, their) presumption that their movement is forfeit due to the sterility of super mutants based on the holotape of scribe Vree. You have this gotcha moment with the Master and he concedes his whole plan, blowing himself sky high along with everyone in the Cathedral. He does not stop to consider that the Unity could corral pure humans from the Vaults and use the vaults to breed them, then convert them in the FEV bras as needed. This would produce intelligent mutants like Marcus and Lieutenant.

Arguably there are ideological checkmates like this in 2 and New Vegas; some consider the Legion a certain antagonist and problematize it's stability when Caesar should die.

As for Fallout 2, the Enclave has officers and agents in Navarro, exposed to surface FEV.

Are they simply willing to sacrifice those exposed to FEV without power armor filtering it out? Do the unprotected stay inside at Navarro and use power armor to return to the inner recesses of the oil rig via vertibird?

Don't they consider that it is impractical to not accept the consequences of their pre-war government's meddling in biological engineering?

Is San Francisco part of the NCR territory?

I though I saw a NCR officer in McCarran saying that he is from San Francisco
