    Does the ncr use airplanes

    Posted: 04 May 2020 06:37 PM PDT

I was wondering for a long time if the ncr uses the planes at the airport in nv because they look good for something having 200 of age and it would not be complicated for a pretty big nation like the ncr to build some and use them

How does the Lone Wanderer's story end?

    Posted: 04 May 2020 07:50 AM PDT

I recently got to see Broken Steel and was wondering about the Lone Wanderer. Is it canon that sentinel Lyons sacrificed herself? Or is there no canon ending to fo3?

Do we have any clues about what the world looks like outside of the US or China?

    Posted: 04 May 2020 11:07 PM PDT

I get it, the Middle East and Europe also had some nuclear exchange, but the world is a tad bit bigger than that. Even if Australia and New Zealand was dragged into the war (I have minimal understanding/knowledge on the lore), there are still thousands of islands (probably one magnitude more) in the Pacific Ocean, Russia is ginormous and mostly uninhabited, Africa, South America...

Is "radiation spread everywhere by wind currents, life doesn't exist anywhere else, full stop" the only realistic theory?

Is there any more lore about Talon Company and Regulators?

    Posted: 04 May 2020 03:07 PM PDT

I'm curious if there's anything in the lore that talks more about Regulators and Talon Company. I'd like to know more about Sonora Cruz and Daniel Littlehorn. How do they get funding to buy fingers and ears. How did they get started etc.

Why Would the Government Want to Waste Resources on the Vaults Just to Have Them Fail?

    Posted: 05 May 2020 12:19 AM PDT

During the context of the Resource Wars, where everything is under strain and running out, why would the government dedicate countless amounts of steel, concrete, electronics, etc. to build these massive underground cities upon themselves, packed full of food (during a famine) and the best technology of the time, just to have them fail and collapse for test data? It feels like a major drain, for no guaranteed payoff in the future, and in the context of the war, those resources were taken away from the war machine (which had its hands in everything and was pretty much running things when the President and his chums skipped the country) and would extend the conflict (wasting more resources) and not play a role in securing what few resources were left.

I know that Christine and Veronica were together at one point but was it ever explicitly said from one of the characters?

Why dosen't the ncr use artillery

    Posted: 04 May 2020 10:27 PM PDT

The ncr has the resources and knowledge to do it but It doesn't why

The BOS and Big Mountain (Old World Blues)

    Posted: 05 May 2020 04:18 AM PDT

Since the BOS is all about technology and securing it away from people what would they do if they found The Big Empty? would they leave it because of its danger or would they try to capture it due it being dangerous and old world technology? how would the sink and think tank react to this 'invasion'? could the BOS even capture the big empty?what would happen to Big Mountain and the waste land if the BOS did capture it?

Single richest man in pre-war America?

My gut wants to say House but I'm welcome to being wrong.

Why is Mr House’s body so old in FNV when cryogenic stasis was clearly highly developed?

    Posted: 05 May 2020 03:31 AM PDT

I know the obvious answer: two different companies worked on these two games, and Bethesda didn't really think about how House fit into the picture of this new game.

But is there much lore on exactly what House did to preserve himself? It would make sense that he could possibly know about and even have access to the latest in cryogenic development since he was so powerful, wealthy and influential.

Was vault 76 just what it was built for?

    Posted: 05 May 2020 02:10 AM PDT

i find it odd vault-tek had no hidden experiment, they did this with every nearly other vault...

Did vault tec start the war?

    Posted: 04 May 2020 06:38 AM PDT

Are there any indication that vault tec started the war or had a hand in it? To me it would make sense for them to atleast help to start it, so they coult start their experiments.

Looking for any signs of electronic currency in fallout.

    Posted: 04 May 2020 04:31 AM PDT

I failed to find any traces of electronic currency in franchise. Judging by the existence of Poseidon net there is a possibility that some sort of internal electronic currency can exist. But to extend this to bitcoin of sorts is too far fetched I think. Yet still there might be something's I've missed.

Never before have I seen this question on reddit.

[FO4] If your son/Sean (FO4) is an old man, then why does Ellie Perkins who is clearly younger describe him as a 10 year old?

    Posted: 04 May 2020 10:54 AM PDT

Basically the title is my question. When you discuss the kidnapping of your son with Nick Valentine at the beginning of the main quest line for your son Nick asks Ellie for the notes they have on the Kellogg case.

She describes the child Kellogg has with him at his home in Diamond City as 10 years old, but when you meet Sean (your son) he's significantly older (don't know if its confirmed but arguably older than you).

This situation combined with the fact Kellogg needed institute tech to remain alive for this long highlights that Ellie Perkins probably wouldn't have been born. This would mean that Ellie is old enough to not only remember Kellogg and Sean, but remember him in an investigatory facet meaning she'd be way older than Sean, but she's seemingly young?

Or does she not have any involvement with it and these are just Nick Valentines notes (the way she says this in the game makes it seem like she observed it as well).
