Title pretty much covers everything. I didn't hear anything about Arizona and Flagstaff either. Does the Legion still exist? Any piece of lore about them in Fallout 4?

    Does FEV work on plants?

    Posted: 22 May 2020 05:14 PM PDT

We see plenty of new varieties of plant life in the Fallout world (including several edible ones in FO4), but has it ever been clarified as to if FEV was responsible for any of these transformations?

And beyond that, could it cause more drastic changes? I ask because given Fallout's love of B-movies and pulp fiction, maybe we could see mutated plant life as enemies in future games? Perhaps carnivorous plants or a rendition of the infamous trees from Evil Dead (not period I know, but still)?

[FO4] Are the "raiders" of the "wreck of the FMS northern star" really raiders?

    Posted: 22 May 2020 11:48 AM PDT

This one has is a weird one.

Some background- the wreck of the FMS northern star is a wrecked norwegian ship washed up on the beaches of the commonwealth, the "raiders" there are all ghouls implying they may be the original crew (they also speak norwegian).

for some reason they are called raiders.

if you translate the norwegian things they shout at you, it's somewhat shocking.

the things they shout are pleas and begs for you to leave the ship.

(some things they shout at you) (translated)

    "Get off our ship!"

    "Stop attacking us!"

    "Leave us alone!"

That does not sound like what a normal raider would really say...

And they only attack if you step foot on the ship, you are kinda invading if you do...they don't know who you are or what you plan to do.

Why are they called raiders? (unless they are raiders, though less evil ones)

anyone got any idea that could explain this label of raider?

Just how far back do the Enclave go in US History?

    Posted: 22 May 2020 04:03 PM PDT

Considering the borderline religious nationalism present in the pre-war US, a part of me wonders if the Enclave were part of a backstage political movement from before the war. A sort of 'illuminati' faction of corporate pig-dogs and fanatical militarist politicians hell-bent on preserving American culture and society (or at least by their own twisted logic) even once the bombs fall.

They'd likely have overtaken the government at some point before the Resource Wars, and perhaps were responsible for the political and cultural 'stagnation' that caused the separation from the real-world chain of events.

So I had a question about the fallout world

    Posted: 22 May 2020 08:43 PM PDT

I know some countries such as China and the USA are destroyed but are there any that are still completely fine like how are the other countries holding up

How much do people know about history?

    Posted: 22 May 2020 02:13 PM PDT

In fallout, some people seem to understand history clearly. Caesar and Arcade clearly know the Roman Empire, with Preston Garvey making references to the minutemen. The only guy who seems to know Christian history is Joshua Graham. So my questions are, who knows about history, how much do they know, and how did they obtain that knowledge?

Why is Freeside so dilapidated and poor compared to New Vegas?

    Posted: 23 May 2020 02:55 AM PDT

Freeside has always intrigued me because it's so dishevelled compared to it's New Vegas neighbour. Why do the people have no money and can't afford to improve their homes and businesses? Can anyone shed some light on the economic state of Freeside for me?

Are fusion cores and robots a result of alien technology in Fallout?

    Posted: 22 May 2020 04:18 PM PDT

It seems to me that the switch to nuclear energy, energy weapons, and the appearance of robots all came around in a short and similar time frame in fallout. I know Skynet was made in the 2050's, which is also when we see a boom in robotics and other breakthroughs.

I just want to know anything and everything about the different tribes and generations of Super Mutants.

    Posted: 22 May 2020 04:29 PM PDT

We all know the basics like the master's army, the vault 87 mutants in FO3, and the institute mutants in F04 but what about all the accidental mutants, the different tribes of them settling other places like in far harbor, or the enclave mutants from the slaves they made dig the ruins of Mariposa. It's not really a question per-se I just want to hear all the different knowledge people have on the subject.

Could the process to make Frank Horrigan be replicated or improved upon? What would a post- Institute 'Ultra-Super Mutant,' look like?

    Posted: 22 May 2020 08:00 PM PDT

In my opinion, Frank Horrigan represents an ultimate outcome to the FEV being used to create super-soldiers. I have always hoped in iterations of fallout other super soldiers of his calibre would appear, but, they never do.

So, could the process to make Horrigan be replicated to create the superior army the Master could have dreamed of?

While wikis describe him as being of low intelligence, he definitely seems a lot brighter than your average super mutant. He is the perfect soldier, mind cybernetic enhancement may be the factor I see as problematic for any large-scale production of such a soldiery, as the expense and resources required to produce tailored chem-injecting cybernetic armour could be difficult.

While the accidental exposure to FEV lead to his gradual mutation into the tank he is, could controlled FEV exposure to a similar specimen yield similar results?

Surely the institute would have been capable of making something like Horrigan, perhaps they simply never knew of the oil rig outposts research and experiments and it never occured to them, or they never saw it as a worthwhile venture.

If someone was to replicate the process, what do you think would go into producing Horriganite cybermutants? Do you think it could ever be an interesting arc in a fallout game?

Do ghouls live forever or do they have a lifespan that eventually ends but it’s long? And do super mutants or other creatures also live as long as ghouls?

    Posted: 22 May 2020 07:54 PM PDT

Title. I'm not sure if ghouls have an infinite life due to radiation or if their life is long but still limited. And I'm wondering about the lifespans of super mutants and other mutated creatures and if they live as long as ghouls or not. Appreciate the feedback in advance!

What was the weather like immediately after the war? And what was it like for the weeks that followed?

    Posted: 22 May 2020 12:39 PM PDT

I've always wondered what the weather was like for the early days of the Post-War world prior to nuclear winter

Is there a specific reason why Secruatrons are exclusive to the Nevada area?

    Posted: 22 May 2020 09:51 AM PDT

Although it could be written off as a design choice, is there a specific reason why Securatrons was exclusive to New Vegas and the Big MT? We have received explanations as to why Assaultrons were not readily available everywhere due to their manufacturing facilities on the East Coast and Protectrons, Sentrybots, Mr.Handy/Gutsy, and Robobrains are present in NV and other Fallout games.

Are Zetans the Aliens Cabot is Crazy About?

    Posted: 22 May 2020 04:11 PM PDT

This may be a rather stupid question, but is the alien civilization that Jack Cabot talks about in fallout 4 the Zetans or something else? I have been thinking about this for some time and can't come to a firm decision.

FNV: How did Dean Dimoino become a ghoul

    Posted: 22 May 2020 09:42 AM PDT

As far as I know no nukes dropped near the Serrida Mondri (or wherever dead money takes place) mostly because Mr.House shot down most of them. Is the cloud partly radioactive or did the place get doses in radiation or what? How did he become a ghoul

    differences between the Power Armor

    Posted: 22 May 2020 09:16 AM PDT

I was wondering why there is a huge difference between the Power Armor of Fallout 3 vs Fallout 4, in F3 the Power Armor is simpler and it is like a "medieval" armor, in F4 it is much more robust and looks like an Iron Man armor, a more technological exotraje that needs a nuclear cell to work.

some part of the games explain this, how did this evolution happen, or was that a change in the development of F4 ??

Big Empty capabilities on cutting open power armor or alien metal.

    Posted: 22 May 2020 09:46 AM PDT

Titles pretty much says it. Like say a Spartan from halo or other fictional universes gets zapped into the Big empty, does anyone know what they would use to cut open the armor? Do they have plasma cutter for the occasion or something similar
