Posted: 23 Apr 2020 09:51 PM PDT Those things were horrible, some body horror that seemed out of place with their green super mutant owners. I still loved that they were a thing in fallout3. Is there any explanation, why they were replaced with the mutant hounds? [link] [comments] |
Posted: 23 Apr 2020 02:16 PM PDT So I'm simply curious to know what creatures and "Meta-Humans" to quote Fawkes were created as a result of any and all strands of the FEV. I currently know about most of these creatures to some extent but would be interested to hear the rich history of each. The Mariposa original strain: Mariposa Super Mutants (including the nightkin), Floaters, Centaurs (Fully Human and Chimera kind), the FEV Mutants (Harold, the Master, Talius), Psykers, and Intelligent Albino Mole Rats (Keeng Ra'at, and Brain) The Enclave adjustment strands/accidental: Intelligent Deathclaws, Second Generation Mariposa Super Mutants, Frank Horgan (a category of its own), and radiation affecting killing substance (there were 2 strands made of maybe just 1 reused) The Vault 87 strain: Vault 87 Super Mutants, Behemoths, Centaurs (Fully Human), and Fire Ants The Institute strain: Institute Super Mutants, Behemoths, Mutant Hounds and likely the generation 3 synths The Appalachia (Huntsville) strain: Appalachia Super Mutants, Behemoths, Snallygasters, Grafton Monsters, and Floaters (mutated elemental ones) Anymore I'm missing or fill in the explanation of each more in depth? Are Vault-Tech Vault Boy bobbleheads made before the war? Posted: 23 Apr 2020 09:11 PM PDT When we find them, are we to assume that they were a collector's item in a time before the bombs fell? If so, why does the Barter bobblehead in Fallout IV hold up a bottlecap? Bottlecaps were as worthless in the Fallout prewar universe as they are in ours. Are we to assume the marketing team for Vault Tech had some immense powers of foresight to predict a bottlecap value explosion ? Are we to assume that Nuka Cola and Vault Tech teamed up in a promotional campaign? Is this just poor knowledge of canon combined with overall poor writing skills on behalf of the hapless and inept Fallout IV writing staff? [link] [comments] |
Why is there no modern music in the games? Posted: 23 Apr 2020 03:49 AM PDT Title may be a bit confusing but when you listen to a radio station it's all music from the 1950-60s. It's not a problem but we only hear music from that era. What happened to the music made between 1960-2077. Did no one make any music? Could someone please explain. Edit: Just for context I don't mean genres. [link] [comments] |
