Does the Brotherhood of Steel want non-feral ghouls exterminated? Posted: 24 Apr 2020 02:48 PM PDT I am sure they are discriminatory towards non ferals but do they want them dead? My understanding is they want feral ghouls eradicated and don't really care about non feral ghouls. Anyone know? [link] [comments] |

Why is The Sink called The Sink? Posted: 24 Apr 2020 06:36 PM PDT The central hub and player house in Old World Blues is called The Sink, which is a rather strange name. Is there any particular reason it was named that? Is it a reference to something? [link] [comments] |
What is the origin of the holotape? Posted: 24 Apr 2020 08:47 PM PDT I love holotapes, especially the modern ones. But why were they made in place of digital storage? Like, they are glorified floppy disks right? How is that an improvement over weightless cloud storage? [link] [comments] |
Why was the Eastern Brotherhood so quick to abandon Tesla and plasma technology? Posted: 24 Apr 2020 12:57 PM PDT In F3 during the Enclave's 'occupation' of the wasteland we see in the Citadel lab the Brotherhood has captured an enclave plasma rifle and are presumably studying it for some reason. We even see some members using them (Sarah Lyons and Paladin Tristan). And then during Broken Steel we are given the Tesla rifle in the final act, a weapon so important we are sent across the map to one of the most dangerous places in the capital wasteland to retrieve a part needed to make it However when the eastern chapter roll on up during F4 they seem to have completely forgotten about such important technology, surely they would have utilized it for some way? Can you think of any lore reason they might have stuck to their trusty lasers? perhaps red goes better with the whole technofacism thing [link] [comments] |
Were the earlier synth variants basically Terminators in terms of lore? Posted: 25 Apr 2020 12:41 AM PDT Not in gameplay because they're made of paper in there but in lore. [link] [comments] |
Posted: 25 Apr 2020 12:22 AM PDT I'm an Australian fan. I have been playing Skyrim for 8 years, but I recently picked up Fallout 4 since it was on gamepass. Apart from the frustrating character build I made going in blind, it's very fun, if different. Anyway, since I have almost no knowledge of the lore outside 4, I was wondering what happened to Australia, or otherwise other countries in general. Is it similar to America? Are there giant mutated Funnel-Webs and 20ft Cassowary-Terrorbirds? Giant Dinosaur-sized crocodiles? Is it a Mad Max dystopia? [link] [comments] |
