Posted: 24 Mar 2020 05:33 PM PDT If I remember correctly, Mr. House knew Benny had stolen the Platinum Chip from the Courier and possibly knew about Yes Man. If that's the case, why didn't Mr. House send in a few Securitrons to force Benny to return the Chip? [link] [comments] |
Why did prewar companies become so corrupt and barbaric in the fallout universe? Posted: 24 Mar 2020 09:19 PM PDT Med-Tek research, Halluci-Gen Inc, Vault-Tec, and to some extent the U.S. military were all companies that committed horrifying atrocities on unsuspecting test subjects in order to advance their research. The question is, what is different in the fallout universe that allowed for them to become like this. Or, in other words, what went wrong? [link] [comments] |
Why Benny Could NOT Have Activated The Securitron Army Posted: 24 Mar 2020 02:49 AM PDT I see people say all the time that Benny, if he had time to prepare, would've activated the army underneath the Fort, and House would've won if not for the Courier. This is false, very false. While I do agree that Benny was captured very easily because of a lack of time, he would never even gotten into the weather station. Vulpes Inculta tells us that he already knew Benny left the Strip, and would be heading over to the Fort. No doubt he has at least one frumentarius specifically for all the Family heads, to keep an eye on them. He would've noticed Benny leaving, even if he tried to be sneaky. Vulpes knew Benny was leaving for the Fort when Benny snuck underground, for god's sake. There are also Praetorians inside the weather station, who probably would've noticed if an invisible person holding a shiny chip stuck something in the console. Even if they were only there for the Courier, the legionaries outside would've noticed the door opening, and the underground door opening. They would've gone inside, and killed Benny, and now Caesar has access to the vault. Even if this all goes without a hitch, even if he magically teleports into the vault, he still gets slaughtered like a pig by the laser turrets and protectrons down there. Thank you for listening to my TED talk. [link] [comments] |
Posted: 24 Mar 2020 01:20 PM PDT I always thought that feral ghouls would not attack sentient ghouls. In FO3 Roy Philips has his own feral army that don't attack him and Barrows studies them. But in FO4 we find Father Gabe being attacked by ghouls in Union's Hope Cathedral. What's the deal? The wiki say's Gabe's is a unique encounter but 🤷🏻♀️ [link] [comments] |
What was the population like during the 2070s? Posted: 24 Mar 2020 09:29 PM PDT How many people were there? And was there overcrowding in places like D.C. or Boston or San Fransisco? Places where there really today irl is densely populated and would innevitably overpopulate. I havent really ever heard anything about population in game or through videos or anything. Posted: 24 Mar 2020 06:02 PM PDT This is mainly for fallout 4. Why don't settlers make pasta? They have razorgrain crops, tatos, and you have the option to make noodles, so why not some marinara sauce or even some vodka sauce? [link] [comments] |
Many questions about Fallout lore. Posted: 24 Mar 2020 06:22 AM PDT Was the U.S. only one to have developed fusion technology, at least advanced one if other nations had less developed fusion tech? Is there more information about what happened on other continents? From how many states in total locations were features in Fallout such as Zion and New Canaan being in Utah(?) and Pittsburg in Pennsylvania? Are events from Fallout Tactics mention/referenced in games after it? Is it being assumed that the U.S. and perhaps the world stuck in 1950s style culture and not result of cultural regression or 1950s renesanse? Perhaps technological regression due to lack of resources? Note: Had to repost because somehow by some logic its vague to say that the thread contains many questions, wonder if it will be removed yet again despite being specific yet again and make it obvious that it is about the lore in the reddit dedicated to fallout lore where people ask questions about its lore.
