| Why did the Enclave even want to rebuild the Capital Wasteland? Posted: 21 Feb 2020 08:05 PM PST The Capital Wasteland is an absolute mess, one of the most apocalyptic we've seen in the series. It's hard if not impossible to grow crops, actual land to build on is scarce, and there are numerous threats present. So my question, why did the enclave even want control? There are surely numerous other places that would serve as a FAR better place to start rebuilding the US and the enclave definitely has the tech (satellites, vertibirds, etc) to find the places left in the US that actually could serve as a place to rebuild (such as the Mojave which was left largely untouched, along with I'm sure other places). So why not go there or literally anywhere else? In short, the capital wasteland is a hell hole and there are far better locations in the US for the former US government to set up shop. | Energy weapons manufacturing? Van Graffs/Brotherhood/Gun Runners? Posted: 21 Feb 2020 08:41 AM PST In the lore for New Vegas, do the Van Graffs manufacture the energy weapons they sell, or do they just buy/sell? I believe that the Gun Runners can manufacture enegry weapons, but don't bother in the Mojave, as the Van Graff's keep raiding their shipments. I feel like I've read somewhere that the brotherhood can manufacture their own energy weapons too, but that might have been a fever-dream. I am modding my New Vegas game again, and want to add a ton of high quality energy weapons..... but they don't mesh with the EVE mod. So I was thinking about tweaking the mods so the modded weapons were like the Van Graff or GRA variant of the pre-war laser/energy weapons. But I like to stay lore-friendly with my modding, so I thought I'd ask here. [link] [comments] |
| Are Tatos a Fruit or a Vegetable Posted: 21 Feb 2020 12:08 PM PST Do we know what the inside of a tato looks like and can it scientifically be categorized as fruit or vegetable. It grows and looks like a tomato but is used as a potato in the food processor recipes for potato crisps and instamash. Other in game recipes use them interchangeably, as far as i can tell.
