Does Fallout 4’s Schoelt propane company break fossil fuel lore?

Ever since I found out there was still a propane company, I was curious. If there is such an amount of natural gas that it can be used for civilian uses, why didn't the government tap that and use it to make propane fueled technologies?

There is one scene, where Kellogg walks through a hallway and a unknown voice speaks to him... Who was this person? Was he a member of the Shi?

Why did Vault-Tec host the social experiments?

    Posted: 18 Feb 2020 11:09 AM PST

What would they gain from it? We're they just curiosity that made them found an absurdly expensive organization? Did they have some kind of idea that they would release the results to people scrounging the wastes and that they would care?

Do we know anything about the Schoelt propane company?

Title is pretty self explanatory I just saw a sign in fallout 4 and was wondering why people would need propane for anything

What happened during the NCR-BoS war?

    Posted: 18 Feb 2020 01:43 PM PST

I remember that the war was fought because the brotherhood was trying to get more technology from the NCR. And that the war was still going on decades later in 2281. so what exactly happened? there's a lot of competing information. and I don't know what to believe.

Why do ghouls face such discrimination in the post-war society? And why are they considered non-human?

    Posted: 18 Feb 2020 12:20 PM PST

I mean, ghouls ARE human, it's like being prejudiced against burn victims! How is the idea that ghouls are subhuman so widely accepted throughout most of America?

If all super mutants are made with FEV, why do only certain ones have genitalia.

    Posted: 18 Feb 2020 08:43 AM PST

In FO2, a mutant named Francis can make a female chosen one his gimp, implying he has genitals. Whereas in FO4 telling Ronnie Shaw you don't have time for a genital measuring competition, Strong will be very confused, implying that he does not.

    Is Dogmeat Institute?

    Posted: 18 Feb 2020 08:14 AM PST

I saw this theory floating around a little while ago and I have to admit, it's somewhat compelling. I mean, a fully loyal, trained attack dog just waiting around in what seems like an extremely likely location for the Sole Survivor to be.
