Posted: 20 Jan 2020 08:10 PM PST I know we take a monorail to get there and that it seems to have a different climate and landscape than the rest of the Commonwealth (The fact that the Cowboy part is a desert springs to mind) but just how far away is it? | How does Little Lamplight exist? Posted: 20 Jan 2020 10:33 PM PST According to the lore, the people in the caves were there on a school trip and took shelter there during the nuclear attacks. All the adults either died off or left, leaving only the children. My question is why there are only children there 200 years later when the LW shows up. The oldest at the time is 16 and the youngest is 6. Where did all these children come from? They can't be part of the original school trip. [link] [comments] |

| Is there an overarching reason why people dislike and are mistrustful of non-feral ghouls? Posted: 21 Jan 2020 12:40 AM PST There are certain communities and people that treat sapient ghouls like normal people, but it is always said that in general people dislike them. Is there a canonical reason for this, or is it as simple as "Ew, gross, a ghoul" ? Some of them are old enough to be pretty knowledgeable about the wastes and prewar life, not to mention if they are old they to be somewhat formidable in combat. This seems like something that would make people stop and be respectful to a ghoul that interacts like a normal person, but even the Children of Atom, a group that follow a radiation based religion, treat them like cursed beings.
