Not the best I've ever made, but I really loved making it. Tunnel Snakes Rule!

I think there’s a serious under appreciation for the real hero of fallout 4. Takahashi.

    Posted: 15 Jan 2020 08:33 PM PST

    We all love Ramen Noodles.

    Takahashi basically serves Ramen Noodles.

    I rest my case.

This heartfelt little moment never seizes to move me. It's so hauntingly sad, but also beautiful.

[Theory] For New Vegas, was there something different planned for the securitron bunker?

    Posted: 15 Jan 2020 11:37 AM PST

I noticed something about New Vegas. In the game, a major aspect to the plot is the bunker at the Fort. The game somewhat builds it up as a mystery and once we get there we find out it has an army of securitrons.

Then I started thinking, was this always the intention? I say this due to the game giving some hints which seems to no longer serve a purpose.

Yes Man, who was connected to the same system with the other securitrons before being given new life, makes a comment about the bunker when you ask him about it.

Right, it's one of two locations on House's network with non-standard hardware.

My guess is that it has a reader that can decode the chip, and who knows what else? Maybe a giant robot or something!

A giant robot, eh? Well, we have learned that Robco worked on giant robots before like Liberty Prime, which leads me to the next hint.

At Camp Golf, we can find a portrait with Mr. House who once owned the area for it was a resort before the Great War. In the portrait House is standing in front of a robot which we don't see.

    https://vignette.wikia.nocookie.net/fallout/images/b/bc/House.jpg/revision/latest?cb=20110303133339

What if we were suppose to find an army of robots based on a prototype model of Liberty Prime? Liberty Prime was intended to be the pinnacle of destruction against all opponents. I wouldn't be surprised if House took some of the technology from the Liberty Prime project for his own purposes. House did state he did lots of costly planning for the post-apocalypse (the progress he made on longevity which he said he could write several books on).

Another thing about the bunker is when you activate the army, you hear the sound of machines. Sounds like a factory so is it more than just a place House use to keep his robots? Or intended to be an underground factory?

We know the game has stuff left in from what was suppose to be. For example how Veronica and Jane allude to the securitron Marilyn despite being absent from the game.

So what do you all think?

Dreaming the impossible: all Fallout locations in one game

    Posted: 16 Jan 2020 03:06 AM PST

I am not crazy, I know it's practically impossible, but wouldn't it be amazing if you could explore and play on "THE WHOLE THING"? All the areas, moving from area to area, connecting plotlines and bringing about massive change? It would be fun! What do you say? What would make this exciting for you?

I think Preston permanently hates me now.

    Posted: 15 Jan 2020 07:32 AM PST

So I blew up the Institute with the Brotherhood's help, but I didn't send the evacuation order. Now I'm General of the Minutemen and a Sentinel with the Brotherhood, but everytime I talk to Preston, he just goes on ranting about what i did, even after I helped him retake Castle. Any fix besides backtracking?

F4: am I the only one hating BoS?

    Posted: 16 Jan 2020 01:35 AM PST

Seriously. The only faction that makes sense are the Minutemen, looking to let people do their thing with the security of not being constantly attacked and harassed by damned Riders or Super Mutants.

BoS... not so much. A bunch of exalted military group who unilaterally decided that they knew better than anyone else. They are as bad as the Institute.

Am I the only one who really struggled to side with them and ended up killing them all?

Storywise, is there a reason Strong is allowed in Diamond City?

    Posted: 15 Jan 2020 04:42 AM PST

Considering he's a super mutant and all. I'd chalk it up to gameplay and story segregation but he actually does have dialogue and NPC's reacting to him like the the bartenders, Takahashi and the Diamond City guards. So his presence there is acknowledged, albeit no one ever seems to consider it against some kind of law or he should be killed on sight.

    Fallout inspired radio-play!

    Posted: 15 Jan 2020 04:09 PM PST

    Hey y'all!

Been a fan of Fallout since the days of scouring the wasteland for the water chip. The concept of vaults has stuck with me since then so me and a couple of friends made a Fallout inspired radio-play! Would love to hear what y'all think about it :)

If anyone has any other audio-based post-apocalyptic recommendations I'd love to hear them!

Is Gamestop done selling the Pip-boy 2000 mk vi?

    Posted: 15 Jan 2020 05:23 PM PST

It's been out of stock for at least a month or two and still has the sale price of $22. It's also out of stock on Bethesda's store. Is it now a retired product that they won't sell anymore is it just taking a while to get more stock?

[FO3] Why arent we able to sell the Nuka-Cola Clear formula to Sierra?

    Posted: 15 Jan 2020 03:42 PM PST

So, i got the formula, stored it away, and forgot all about it. On an excursion to do Operation: Anchorage, i was stopped outside of Red Racer by Goalie Ledoux, who wanted the formula. (I sold it)

But then when i checked my locker, i still had the formula.

I thought id sell the second copy to Sierra, but when i went over to her, i never got an option to sell it, which seems a missed opportunity.

Why arent we able to sell it to Sierra???

Fallout 4 doesn't seem to open (XBOX ONE)

    Posted: 15 Jan 2020 03:43 PM PST

Anyone able to help? I have the option to play with the game pass, and/or a physical copy. I've been playing on a different Xbox for a few weeks, and it suddenly won't start on my Xbox. Flashes up with the prestart screen, then dumps me back to home.

I have a bunch of mods installed, all DLCs, and did change almost all my mods around on the other Xbox, in case any of this info affects anything

Something is off about Billy Creel

    Posted: 15 Jan 2020 08:11 PM PST

I admit i wasn't suspicious until i read Moriarty's terminal. Moriarty might be a total ass hat but all the things he says about the residents are fairly accurate

when he said he thinks he killed Maggie's parents and kept her as a trophy, i did a deep dive

it's clear he had some sort of dark past. the guys obviously missing an eye but he gets quiet about his past

he gives a weird ass chuckle after saying maggie keeps him on the straight and narrow

he tells her not to talk to Jericho, a known former raider, who probably knew who billy was before they both settled down- is it so Jericho doesn't tell her stories about Billy's past? also, he's the only one who said not to talk to Jericho, everyone else says don't talk Moriarty.

we all know fallout likes to hide lore in books and terminals and there's 2 found in billy's house, the one that caught my eye was The Guardians of Gillyfrond

in the Guardians of Gillyfrond, toys are given life and owned by a girl named Molly, kinda like Toy Story. a toy mouse is angry that he has to look after Molly saying that it's "manual labor" but the leader of the toys, Wollingsworth, reassures him that he'll get to do what was "in his job description" and not to worry. This one really creeped me the fuck out, i'm not outright saying Billy is a pedophile but this book suggests that a little girl is being taken care of with there being an unnamed ulterior motive, and i feel like its no coincidence this is found in Billy's house.

what do you guys think? am i over analyzing it? or is there something dark to Billy Creel?

Does fallout new vegas have more things to do such as side quests, missions, exploring compared to RDR2?

    Posted: 15 Jan 2020 11:44 PM PST

I need to settle an argument with my co-worker right now about which game has more stuff to do in it and we cant find a definitive answer anywhere on the internet, so we are looking for facts on this matter if anyone can help. I'm saying RDR2 for the record. Thank you in advance
