    I'm planning to make a cowboy crit build and the special and traits I'm think of are S-5 P-6 E-5 C-1 I-7 A-7 L-9 then pick skilled and bulit to destroy is there any changes I should make? for example I'm thinking about lowering luck to 8 to make intelligence 8.

    Are there any ‘temporary’ followers you can get to follow you permanently?

    Hopefully the title makes sense but some may not know what I mean so I'll explain. In other games such as Fallout 3, you can get what's known as a 'temporary' follower where someone will follow you as part of a quest for you to take them somewhere, escort you in a quest etc.

    For example, Sticky who you get from little lamplight, will follow you to get to big town.

    However the thing with a lot of temporary companions, you can choose to never finish the quest or to never take them to the location and therefore keep them forever as an extra companion.

    I know lots in Oblivion and Fallout 3, but I don't know of any in New Vegas.

    Does anyone know if there are any temporary companions in New Vegas that you can get to follow you around permanently? (Not including the ranger or securitron during the battle of hoover dam)

    So I want to play a survival game where I need food and drink to live and damage is more realistic. Is there any good mod for that? (Something between hardcore mode and Dust in difficulty).

    What do you feel is the most satisfying weapon in FNV?

    I'm not necessarily talking about the most powerful or destructive weapon, but the one that feels the most satisfying or fun to use?

    For me, it's a tie between the throwing spears and the heavy incinerator. There's something so awesome about the arcing projectiles that you just don't get with hitscan or ballistic weaponry, especially when you score a hit that had zero chance to hit in VATS by firing indirectly.

    Not just that, but the animation of the throwing spear is so fluid: the little heft, the pulling back and the throwing makes stopping a charging ghoul or gecko that bit more satisfying.

    Where is the Sierra Madre casino gate before I go insane

    I got the gala event started, went to walk to the gate and I can't find it. I'm literally right on the cursor but it's just the door to the other area. It feels like I've been walking in the same goddamn circle for hours. I can't find it, I've spent all my chips on stimpaks trying to escape and kill these stupid ghosts. Please im about to go insane listening to this stupid soundtrack.
