| What is Mexico like in the fallout world Posted: 27 Jul 2021 12:19 PM PDT What is Mexico like I can only remember Raul saying it's a hellhole and was nuked hard but not as hard as places like dc (tho I doubt Raul would know how hard it was hit because I don't think he's been there and don't think he would of walked all the way to dc and then to the Mohave) so let's assume he's telling the truth then it's pretty bad then I think he mentions raider gangs and a lot of anarchy what else do we know? Posted: 27 Jul 2021 03:48 PM PDT I know that the Fallout Bible stated that it was created by the Chinese government as a biological weapon, and some spies accidentally spreat it to the US while trying to sabotage the Hoover Dam (It's not Canon, although Operation Anchorage and New Vegas confirms that they indeed, tried to sabotage Hoover Dam. | Posted: 27 Jul 2021 05:38 PM PDT In fallout 1 & 2, vaults had blue-ish metal walls and dark blue floors with a very industrial look. More modern vaults are often more vibrant and colorful, and appear less industrial and more homely. Is there a canon reason for this? Did Vault-Tek start using different vault textures when they became Vault-Tec (regarding naming, is there a reason why Vault-Tec was originally called Vault-Tek, but not anymore?), Or is it a full retcon on all vaults? | Why weren’t there more supermutants in the Glowing Sea? Posted: 27 Jul 2021 04:06 PM PDT Is there any particular lore reason the supermutants would not have a major lair there? I've been thinking about creating a mod that makes it hard to get out of the Glowing Sea to put players to the test when it comes to their survival skills and knowledge. One of the biggest threats I could cook up was having large patrols of super mutants and behemoths traffic the perimeter with their hounds. In vanilla, those are exceptionally challenging enemies, but in this mod supermutants would have very large health reserves, lethal strentgh and bulletproof skin that can only be pierced by armor piercing bullets or exceptional high powered weapons. And the dogs would be highly efficient at detecting the player. Maybe I couldn't realistically place these patrols everywhere, but at least some parts could be enclosed that way. I just wanted to know if there was a specific reason there were so few of them thereto begin with. There was about one behemoth and that was it. [link] [comments] |

I know ghouls exist but why are there still "normal" humans but no "normal" cows? [link] [comments] |

Posted: 27 Jul 2021 02:30 AM PDT Gilda Broscoe mentioned something about not being able to star in Love Set Sail, because Vera's uncle was the producer. Thus, Vera getting the part instead. IIRC, Vera was a farmer and only became Hollywood-famous thanks to Dean Domino and his connections. So, a relative being in the movie-making business would've been unlikely. [link] [comments] |
