    Bought this game on Steam and I can't get it to work 100%

    Hello everyone,

    So long story short, I haven't played Fallout 3 for years and that was on an old laptop (I think it was still Windows Vista back then, so you can guess how long that was).

    Anyway, the game has gave me many issues so far and I tried to look for solutions that kinda solved it. Here's what I did:

    1- I changed those lines of code (don't ask me what exactly, I just saw what I had to do and followed directions but everything there is fine).

    2- I made the game run on compatibility mode (Windows XP - Service Pack 3)

    3- I made the game run on administrator mode

    While I fixed the crashes, the game now freezes. Especially in big areas. I got to Galaxy News Radio, finished the quest, and now I'm off to Rivet City. But now I'm getting more constant freezes which leads me to think this might be a memory issue? I don't know, I'm not an expert on computers, but I'm always eager to learn more.

    Hopefully you guys can help me because I can't wait to sink my free time on this amazing game.
