Fallout Lore | Shouldn't Goodsprings be way more dilapidated and/or torn up? I mean the terminal in the abandoned school house still has power and most of the homes are still livable and the springs themselves seem fine

I understand the Mojave was less impacted than the rest of the US but Primm and NoVac are in such worse condition

Munch's Whale of a Tale (Fallout Fact or Fiction)

    Posted: 06 Jan 2021 06:01 AM PST

Ok so recently I came across a document written by an old Raider named Munch. The doc is called Whale of a Tale (some of you may have come across it but for those that didnt I'll paste it to the bottom of my query.)

After reading Whale of Tale I immidiately thought that this old man is a funny old geezer that likes to tell lies as I was simply comparing the Fallout universe with our own. But then I remembered in other Fallout games (fo3 fo4) I'd come across big ass bones of animals that don't exist in the game. In fact you can find big ass bones of animals that don't exist in fo76 as well.

This made me wonder are Land Whales real in the Fallout Universe? Has anyone come across documentation of land whales in any other Fallout game or other canon Fallout media? To me it would make sense if they existed considering how weird the science can get with this franchise.

The Document Munch's Memoirs: A Whale of a Tale

Most of the kids here don't know the truth about whales. They used to be the largest, most feared land predators in North America. You always knew when they were coming because of the whale-quakes. They'd wake from hibernation out of the ground, and start burrowing their way to the surface.

Once on land, they were a force of pure destruction. A single whale could take down a whole building if it was still in their way. They had razor sharp fins to slice people in half, and gruesome baleen for teeth. If they sucked you in, that baleen would slice you up like a loaf of bread.

The kids found some old bones while digging out the Core. I told them they were lucky, not only because it was dead, but because that one was just a baby.

What weapons did the Enclave use early on?

I'm aware that before the X0-1 was completed and became the Enclave PA, the T-51 was the standard issue PA for Enclave forces, but what weapons did they use early on?
