Briefly revisiting the Boston baseball team name discussion

Hi there, first time poster here. My name is kdarrow, Nukapedia admin. When reading some dialogue looking for something completely unrelated, I found the Newscaster reference to Boston's baseball team, the "swatting sultans."

I saw it was talked about five years ago or so here, and dismissed because of lack of capitalization. Not sure though, just based on how many other caps and decaps in various dialogue files and subtitles I see in my line of "work," so I would like to revisit it.

    The quote reads,

This afternoon, right here in the city, Boston's swatting sultans will swing for the fences. Led by star pitcher Matt "The Missile" Murtagh, Boston hopes to defeat Texas, and deliver their first World Series victory since 1918.

I ruminated about the name of the Swatter baseball bat and Swatters the Diamond City marketplace store, but what really stood out to me was when looking into it, I learned that Babe Ruth, Boston Red Sox pitcher, the curse of which stuck them without a World Series win since 1918, nickname was the "Sultan of Swat."

That really stuck out to me, especially after searching Boston's with the apostrophe, search seen here, so I thought I would head here and see if you all would share your thoughts on whether it warrants mention in the way of its own article. I wrote one already, maybe prematurely, but want to make sure I get it right.

Thanks for your time in advance!

Why do some of the Watoga buildings have scrap outcroppings on them?

It just doesn't make sense to me and I can't find a reason as to why and it just seems like an odd design choice to me, especially with how big they are. If anyone can help me understand it I'd appreciate it.

What was the point of any of the vault experiments?

    Posted: 05 Jan 2021 09:35 AM PST

All I know is that they made the vaults just to 'see what would happen' like it was a side thought they had and decided to make a vault solely for a completely pointless reason. Leave 1 guy in a vault with hand puppets for no reason, have a vault with 1 man and 999 women or something along those lines. I just don't see the point in any of them since they didn't even live to even see the results of there completely pointless experiments that didn't benefit anyone but there own curiosity. Besides vault 88 that was based for finding cures for diseases or something. If I said anything wrong then I'm sorry, I'm just curious
