Posted: 03 Oct 2020 09:32 PM PDT It's been years since I touched FNV and I completely forgot the magnitude of ass this dude is. I spent the whole time tip toin' around my dialogue because I looked up how easy it was for him to turn on me because he didn't like what I said. I made it all the way to the stage and then he opens his mouth. I completely forgot about this shit lord's actions. Welp, I fixed that real quick [link] [comments] |
Posted: 03 Oct 2020 09:06 AM PDT And my reason for that is because it's SO FUCKING TERRIFYING. Like the building is such a contrast to the rest of the game. Fallout 3 itself is a decently creepy game but when you enter Dunwich, and this Lovercaftian insanity shit hits your eyeballs it's such a curve ball to the rest of the atmosphere of the game that, it surprisingly works really well. Like the whole place just etched itself in my 12 year old mind when i first played Fallout 3 and it's not leaving anytime soon [link] [comments] |
We all have an idea for a city/state for a fallout game. Posted: 03 Oct 2020 07:13 AM PDT And let's be honest, Bethesda won't go with yours and it won't fit what you're picturing. Many of you should get in to tabletop gaming and bring these settings to life, otherwise you'll never see post apocalyptic hawaii, or Seattle, or New Orleans. Join or make a D&D style group, rock some fallout and go/explore as you please. [link] [comments] |
What's the most dark story or piece of lore in Fallout? Posted: 03 Oct 2020 10:08 PM PDT I started playing the Old World Blues DLC for FNV a while ago, it's like the third time I do so, but now I started reading all the terminals I could find and well, turns out Big MT has a pretty dark story with all the things that went down in the place. Being one of the most dark things the Y-17 trauma override harnesses for the fact that at the end of the war, they still had some living people inside (researchers and soldiers) and had to live a slow death, not having the chance to control their own body thanks to the override of the harness. So I was wondering, what was the most dark piece of lore in Fallout for all of you? for me it's sure the experiments in Big MT or Sierra Madre [link] [comments] |

Would weapons made after WW2 be canon? Posted: 03 Oct 2020 08:43 PM PDT Now, I don't mean every gun made after WW2, since the whole divergence thing happens around then. But, well, I was scrolling through the wiki, and the Desert Eagle .44 is in the original Fallout and Fallout 2. And that gun came out in 1983... And I haven't really seen anyone say that the Deagle isn't canon, at least I don't think so, so... Is any gun made up to 1983 canon? [link] [comments] |
How do you recomend resisting the temptation to use console in ANY fallout game? Posted: 03 Oct 2020 05:43 PM PDT I've been trying to do a no cheats build for a long time but i just can NOT resist the urge to use it :( Is there any mods that disable console? Is it even possible? [link] [comments] |
I've released my first custom weapon mod on Fallout 4 today, called - Red Menace - A Rifle Posted: 04 Oct 2020 02:21 AM PDT Red Menace Download links are here. This is my first custom mod and I plan to expand upon it with custom modifications and more. I hope you enjoy, this was quite hard to do with the knowledge I had about the Creation Kit, but I did it. Feedback welcome!! Thanks! [link] [comments] |
Posted: 03 Oct 2020 11:10 AM PDT Just watched the premiere, wow this is everything I wanted in an expansion: A good guy path!!!! [link] [comments] |
What are the chances of the Rose of Sharon Cassidy mother being the chosen one? Posted: 03 Oct 2020 01:51 PM PDT I was looking on no mutants allowed and saw an old thread asking if Cass is possibly from new arroyo and I thought "huh what's the chance that Cass is related to the chosen one." Evidence: -John and the chosen one travelled together in fallout 2 -The chosen one's gender was never confirmed -Cass said her mother was a tribal -She was born only two years after fallout 2 -she was born in California Flaws: -The chosen one's gender was never confirmed -Cass said her mother was from a tribe in the east that eventually became apart of the legion. Looking for tabletop Fallout adventure modules Posted: 03 Oct 2020 06:38 PM PDT I'm running a fallout tabletop game (via roll20) at the moment and I'm looking for good material to convert over. I really need post-apoc modules that I can convert for ideas and filler. So far I've looked at Exodus (the fallout d20 game), Darwin's World, and Gamma World. And no surprise, Darwin's World has been my best bet, what with it actually having campaigns and adventure modules. Which fits as the setting is basically just fallout with the numbers filed off. Exodus' missions were ok, but a lot more Fallout 2 and New Vegas then I was initially looking for. [link] [comments] |
Making Fallout right and future for Bethesda Posted: 04 Oct 2020 03:20 AM PDT Here are my suggestions for future Fallout game that some mod makers already thought of. -choose multiple races(ghouls, humans and super mutants) with each race getting bonuses and disadvantages on stats -each race has their own backround options with diffrent dialogue -no voice over for the player -stop trying to shove a pre-made story to our throats -bring karma back -finally change that engine of theirs [link] [comments] |
How would you describe each of the fallout protagonists? Posted: 03 Oct 2020 09:06 PM PDT Such as someone might believe the vault dweller from fallout 1 is a tragic hero,as in he accomplishes his quest but in return he gets kicked out of the vault,or the courier as a force of benevolence, cheating death and ultimately being the deciding factor in who controls new Vegas, how would you describe some of these portags? [link] [comments] |
Posted: 03 Oct 2020 07:31 PM PDT I've beaten Fallout 4 several times now, and I'm wondering if there's anything, in particular, you recommend me doing? I have every DLC if you wanted to include those. [link] [comments] |
Posted: 03 Oct 2020 03:20 PM PDT So, for my main character, I'm trying to figure out what her long range weapon is; I know she was inspired by superhero comics growing up, and took to martial arts as a result of that inspiration, and once she stepped out into the post-apocalyptic world, she became eager to deliver wasteland justice (perhaps a little too eager). She uses hand to hand as her primary, but what else makes sense, as a secondary/tertiary weapon? [link] [comments] |
ANY COOL XBOX ONE MODS FOR FALLOUT 4? Posted: 04 Oct 2020 02:21 AM PDT I was trying to find some cool mods for Fallout 4 on Xbox One, after playing and LOVING New Vegas. I love mods that enhance the immersion, but any mods will be appreciated [link] [comments] |
Why Fallout: New Orleans is the Perfect Sequel to New Vegas Posted: 04 Oct 2020 01:48 AM PDT Made me happy reading this article. https://gamerant.com/fallout-new-orleans-new-vegas-2-sequel-obsidian-bethesda/ [link] [comments] |
Posted: 03 Oct 2020 09:41 AM PDT So this has been discussed before and someone pointed out that perhaps it isn't Bethesda seeding a clue for the next game but rather it conveniently being something the pick up and run with. Whatever the reason, the replicated man in fallout 3 was seemingly a neat side quest that referenced another part of the wastes of America and alluded to some pretty cool things there, flash forward and it's the main premise of fallout 4. The biggest thing in Fallout 4 that has always just left so many unanswered questions to me is the mural in the freedom museum depicting an epic space battle on the moon in the sea of tranquility. There is zero other references to this that I can find anywhere. So what is this about? How well established then were we on the moon? If this is just a random addition to fallout 4 then it is extremely random, I believe that we will learn more about this conflict in the next game and may have the opportunity to even go to the moon. What other things from 4 stood out to people as references to new locations, characters, factions and stories? [link] [comments] |
Copy and pasting character preset. Posted: 03 Oct 2020 06:58 PM PDT How could I upload my character as a preset? Say my friend wanted their character to look like mine, how would they copy it, cause there's no sliders in fallout 4 unlike Skyrim where you could just copy them. [link] [comments] |
