    Could the NCR kill itself?

    Posted: 14 Oct 2020 02:33 PM PDT

The NCR is incredibly flawed by FNV with the death of Tandi (as Caesar and many others state). There is corruption, a lack of organisation and incompetence. As you probably know, the NCR is very corrupt with brahmin barons who cast great power and leaders like Oliver who misunderstand tactics. Water is running out as Hanlon states so Hoover Dam must be won if there is gong to be stability. Corruption goes right under their noses as Cass's quest shows. The Mojave is only the beginning for the NCR as they're realising that they're expanding too quickly and not fortifying and taking advantage of the land they have. Then their is the way they take land. If you have something they want then democracy and fairness is thrown out the window as their soldiers plant the bear and your caps enter their pockets. Their militaristic nature (which isn't too far off Caesar) can only take them so far before they kick the wrong nest. Caesar's Legion shows that the NCR can get their ass kicked by slavers with machetes if they have tactics. Imagine if Caesar's legion had armour which was light but tough similar to ballistic weave on jumpsuits in Fallout 4 and guns like rifles and SMGs while using their hit and run tactics. The slow moving NCR military who "love" to hold their poorly fortified positions, such as Forlorn Hope and Mccaren, would get their ass handed back to California. The NCR is playing with fire when it comes to their poor management. An example would be the British Empire who expanded so fast and so violently that they ended up having to abandon it all. It only takes a few small rebellions from the many towns under their banner and it all comes crumbling down. The awful democracy is a good enough reason to rebel aswell as their forceful taking of land and poor military campaigns. The NCR has to stop expanding immediately after taking Hoover Dam otherwise the land they take will be worthless and wanting to leave. The Bear is at risk and they only seem to ignore so they can put caps in their pocket and sit at fancy tables.

According to the current stated lore, is Fallout 76 the most important of all the franchise?

    Posted: 14 Oct 2020 10:04 AM PDT

I ask this because on Fallout 76 a new plague in the fallout universe is introduced, the scorched plague, and this plague is supposed to be super contagious and it ended up killing all the region of Appalachia in les than 25 years (seems like a little time but Appalachia is really big).

And it's supposed, as there's never a mention of a dangerous plague in Appalachia on any other fallout game, that the vault dwellers of 76 eliminated the scorched threat, or at least they contained it ling enough so an outbreak never were to occur.

Having all of this in mind, and also that the main font of contagion from the plague is the Scorched Beast (a flying mutated animal), if the vault dwellers of 76 never eliminated or contained the plague, would the virus spread so much it could kill all the United States making so any future fallout game happened chronologically?
