| Why did the Veteran Ranger snipe the Fiend in the New Vegas intro, when he was next to an NCR base? Posted: 09 Oct 2020 06:24 AM PDT In the introduction to New Vegas, a Ranger kills a fiend with a rifle. Yet, they're right next to the biggest NCR base in the game, whos watchtowers are always manned with riflemen. How did the Fiend even manage to get that close to the base, avoid the sentries and then come so close to New Vegas that a Veteran Ranger needed to take them out? [link] [comments] |

| How did the Brotherhood of Steel truly collapse in the Mojave Posted: 09 Oct 2020 06:20 AM PDT The brotherhood of steel started out west in California so you would think that as you go further west, their presence would become much stronger. We know that if we head east to the capital wasteland that those BoS are just struggling to survive (although struggling very well). Then we also know that after the separtist faction left Lyon's chapter they eventually were re-absorbed after Maxson took over. But even with Maxson in control we don't really see how well the rest of the BoS is doing. Did the Mojave chapter recover? Is the original BoS chapter still strong? What happened to Lyon's chapter after Maxson took over and reunified the BoS? [link] [comments] |
