Was there an ultimate end goal for Vault 111 and if so, what was it?

Were the residents of Vault 111 just supposed to stay frozen for all eternity or would they be thawed out when the All-Clear Signal came through? I've heard of a theory where the Enclave would eventually thaw them out and press them into service, so that might be one purpose.

Why is only one of the Hidden Valley Bunkers intact?

    Posted: 09 Sep 2020 08:59 PM PDT

To me, it seems inefficient for the Mojave BoS to have only one intact Hidden Valley Bunker. My guess for the inaccessible doors would lead to those before mentioned destroyed Bunkers. The reason I think it's inefficient to only have one intact Bunker is what if the NCR finds out where the BoS is and just decides to swarm them? They wouldn't have anywhere to escape to and they would all die eventually if that were to happen. Were these Bunkers destroyed a long time ago and that one just happened to still be intact or did the BoS decide to destroy them for whatever reason?

Why did the enclave go from wanting to exterminate the “unclean” in fo3, to having a laboratory that creates mutation serums and even creating the app schism super mutants?

Edit: I'm well aware that the events of 76 happen many decades before they transitioned to their anti-mutant ideology. I was just curious if there was any major event that caused this, or if it was just a gradual change over the course of decades

Is there a reason why Vertibirds looks so different from Fo2-Fo4

    Posted: 09 Sep 2020 08:51 PM PDT

The overall design of each Vertibird is similar, a tiltwing, bug-like design somewhat reminiscent of the V22 Osprey. The Fo2 Vertibird has a dome-like cockpit and several blades on it rotors. The Fo3 and NV have 3 blades and a more closed off design with slits in the cockpit. The Fo4 one still has 3 blades, but is more open and seems larger that its counterpart from Fo3 and NV. Is there a reason for why there are so many different designs for the Vertibird and where are the other versions of it?

    Enclave survival after Fallout 3.

    Posted: 09 Sep 2020 11:12 PM PDT

I realized that the at the end of the "Who Dares Wins" quest, both Sarah and Elder Lyons believe that the Enclave is still functioning and will eventually return or regain their strength. Elder Lyons is worried of them returning in the near future, while Sarah specifically mentions that she thinks it will be a long time until they regain their strength. If Brotherhood intelligence can be believed isn't this a confirmation that the Enclave still active and still functioning in some manner?. They still have not made a appearance 10 years later in Boston, or the capitol wasteland so it is logical that they fled to the mid-west.

Where does everyone get their coffee and tobacco from?

    Posted: 09 Sep 2020 12:54 PM PDT

I get you can find cigarette packs and coffee tins everywhere, but would they still be viable? And if not, where does it all come from? I mean just about everyone seems to smoke and have a coffe machine or a boiler plate in their home, so I think there should be a pretty reliable source somewhere

Why are there very few Computerised pictures in Fallout?

    Posted: 09 Sep 2020 08:55 AM PDT

In fact the only two that come to mind is the picture of the Ant and Megaton on the overseers computer in vault 101 (fallout 3)

So is the blessing of Atom that makes the CoA resistant to radiation just a mutation or something actually supernatural?

    Posted: 09 Sep 2020 02:45 PM PDT

As seen in pretty much every game they appear in, a lot of the Children of Atom are super resistant (and sometimes completely immune) to radiation. We also know magic and the supernatural are real things in the Fallout universe, but so are crazy mutations. Do we ever get any hint as to which category the CoA "blessing" falls under?
