How did people get places in the Vault? Posted: 13 Aug 2020 06:10 AM PDT Before the war, was it possible to just go to Vault-Tec and buy yourself a place in the Vault? If so, what was the aprox. cost? As in, was it something that only the rich folks could afford or middle class people too? I also recall that there were some instances where people would just "get" a place in the Vault like Sole Survivor and their family. If I remember right, it was because of Nate's service in the army? Does it mean that veterans would get places in the vaults due to their service or was Nate a one-off (as in, he did something exceptional)? I know there also were some instances where the entire city would get access to the Vault like with Vault 75? This also applies to all the Vaults with specific members like Vault 92, so would they just call the person they wanted (in this case great musicians) and say "hey, we love how you play the violin, so we're giving you a place in the Vault"? What happened to the divides civilians? Posted: 13 Aug 2020 04:15 PM PDT In lonesome road Ulysses says that the divide was a prospering new nation so it would likely have infrastructure but what happened to it? The there must be at least some remnant of the civilian creations. [link] [comments] |
After Boulder City, why didn’t the NCR chase down and capture Joshua Graham? Posted: 13 Aug 2020 10:34 AM PDT After the NCR bombed the shit out of the Legion and crippled their fighting forces, Joshua Graham and the few surviving soldiers turned coward mode on and ran back to the Fort with their tail tucked between their legs. My question is why didn't Hanlon capitalize on this and give chase? Most of the Legion's forces were in literal pieces. I would have done everything in my power to capture Graham and extort information from him by threatening to kill his few surviving men. Even though the fate that awaited Graham before Caesar was arguably worse, why wouldn't the NCR try and capture the Legate? Especially after the Legion had been decimated. [link] [comments] |

Posted: 13 Aug 2020 09:51 AM PDT How do they get and grow food? In Fallout 3 opening, you get a birthday cake and a cinnamon roll, so they have normal-ish food. Where'd all the ingredients come from? Do they have a Star Trek style food synthesizer? [link] [comments] |
If all the water in Fallout's world is radioactive, what do they drink? Posted: 13 Aug 2020 10:40 AM PDT Almost all the towns in the first game, and many in the succeeding games seem to have a radiation problem with their water. This brings up the question, if all water is so toxic and irradiated in Fallout's world, how do humans (outside of vaults) survive? [link] [comments] |
