Posted: 18 Aug 2020 12:33 AM PDT The Gunners wouldn't do something like destroy an entire town, if there wasn't a profit motive in it. That's why they don't attempt to destroy Goodneighbor or Diamond City even though they clearly have the manpower and firepower to try it, they aren't raiders or super mutants. So who was it that paid the Gunners to destroy Quincy? Considering The Institutes many documented actions of destabilizing the Commonwealth through the years, I place my bets on them being the Gunners client for at least this action. [link] [comments] |
| Can the NCR actually pull through with their original railway plans? Posted: 17 Aug 2020 07:03 PM PDT Something that just caught my curiosity that was never expanded on is that the NCR was originally working on a Railway system across the I-15 before the prison riots broke out and the Powder Gangers uprising. I have followed the rails during my playthrough and there are still several old train cabs intact just along NCRCF, Boulder City and near Nipton. Question is, if the Powder Ganger riot haven't occured, can they even utilize the cabs or the rail itself? I'm aware of the Monorail, but Mr. House may have a hand in that project. I know that a great winter happened in 2130 or so, but how inhospitable was it during the early 2110's? What kind of mutants and people were running around during it? [link] [comments] |
