- Why is the US Military equipment so different in 4 when compared to 3?
- How is the upgraded securitron army supposed to leave the vault at Fortification Hill?

- Any particular lore reason why companions aren’t immediately hostile towards other companions or certain events besides gameplay?
- Are the aliens really evil?
- So what exactly is and isn’t part of the lore in 76? Are legendary weapons part of the lore or just gameplay mechanics? Is Murmrgh selling normal weapons and not legendary weapons for scrip?
- Are the Ncr and Brotherhood Of Steel friend or foe
- Is there any evidence of/reference to T-60 power armor existing in any fallout game other than FO4 or FO76?
- Why didn’t the Brotherhood of Steel’s enemies just shoot the Prydwen down?
Does the East coast have Tribes like the West? Posted: 13 Jul 2020 10:13 AM PDT Hi guys, I've been doing a full replay on F1, 2, 3, NV & 4 (not 76 even though I like it). I've noticed that the games which feature the West coast seem to massively imply that a lot of the populations in various regions are backward tribes which use their own language dialects etc. They barely know how to use firearms and modern technology and instead rely on primitive melee weapons for raiding etc. But in the games featuring the East coast, it's never really implied that there's any sort of primitive tribes etc. It just seems that there's pockets of civilization here and there in small communities which are struggling to survive. Lore-wise is there any reason for this difference between the coasts? Or is this purely a developer choice when creating the games? [link] [comments] |
What happened to the BoS to make them such jerks? Posted: 13 Jul 2020 11:28 PM PDT Sorry if this had been discussed before. But they BoS seems to have a very different attitude between FO3 and FO4. They went from "find all the technology!" to "Kill all non-humans!... and find the tech too, I guess" Is it because of Elder Maxson? Did something happen to them in DC? I was just curious. Thanks for the thoughts! [link] [comments] |
Why is the US Military equipment so different in 4 when compared to 3? Posted: 13 Jul 2020 11:08 AM PDT I'm basing this question mainly on the combat armor difference between 3 to 4. The combat armor in 3 is clearly different than that seen in 4. The R-91 which is what I assume the standard issue rifle is replaced with the bulky assault rifle in 4. To be effective, an army must standardise to meet supply demands and yet these instances have baffled me. [link] [comments] |
How is the upgraded securitron army supposed to leave the vault at Fortification Hill? Posted: 13 Jul 2020 10:51 AM PDT Prior to the Legion establishing the Fort I imagine it would be simple enough, but how are they supposed to leave with the Legion there? [link] [comments] |
Where all does Maxson’s Brotherhood control Posted: 13 Jul 2020 02:20 PM PDT We know Arthur Maxson turned them from a struggling paramilitary group to some type of feudal medieval knight military state and he "reigns supreme" over the Capital Wasteland and members of the BOS refer to it as a country. I think you can even tax ppl in the Commonwealth for protection. Where all does Maxson control? Is it solely DC and the Capital or did he invade the Pitt and Point Lookout? I'm sure they probably would try to shut down the slaving operation in the Pitt especially since it was started by one of their own(Ashur) and they went through the trouble of purging it under Lyons. Proctor Quinlan also says that "his(Maxson's) authority and influence have been spreading all over the eastern seaboard" [link] [comments] |
Posted: 13 Jul 2020 04:45 AM PDT Nick Valentine and Danse, X6-88 and Deacon or Danse upon the discovery of the Railroad. Why are companions so complacent with these events when in character they hate each other with a fiery passion? [link] [comments] |
Posted: 13 Jul 2020 02:40 PM PDT From fallout 3 the mothership zeta dlc and the fact they are taking humans from earth and there are alot of them could be seen as evil but at the same time they could just be trying to save parts of the human culture and watch as humanity evolved. Posted: 13 Jul 2020 11:21 AM PDT I'm confused because although she sells Legendary stuff, I assume that aside from gameplay the Scrip machines don't accept legendary stuff and in all reality accept thing like ores and coal. I don't know, just confuses me. [link] [comments] |
Are the Ncr and Brotherhood Of Steel friend or foe Posted: 13 Jul 2020 05:15 PM PDT Are the ncr and BoS enemy's or allies I have heard the they were allies but I also heard they were enemies [link] [comments] |
Posted: 13 Jul 2020 03:25 AM PDT I'm asking it because T-60 (to my knowledge) isn't in any of the other fallout games other than 4 and 76 and I'm curious as to (my limited fallout knowledge) why it only exists in those 2 games and would like to know if it is a completely new power armor made for 4 and 76 or if it is something from an old/unfinished game like the van buren game that was going to be fallout 3 or some concept art that never was implemented into the older games. Why didn’t the Brotherhood of Steel’s enemies just shoot the Prydwen down? Posted: 13 Jul 2020 03:34 AM PDT The institute definitely have the technology to do so and even the super mutants have weaponry which could bring it down? There can't be much armour because it would be too heavy to keep in the air surely? [link] [comments] |
