Did the NCR have their own version of Operation: Paperclip? Posted: 08 Jul 2020 04:09 PM PDT The Enclave Scientists and staff would have propelled the NCR along the Tech Race with the Brotherhood of Steel. So, I'm unsure if Tandi would have had everyone and everything tried for War Crimes if they could have assisted the Republic. Then again, if you so much as knew an ex-member of the Enclave, even in passing, you'd get one great life-long trip to the NCRCF. [link] [comments] |
How would history have been taught in Vault 101? Posted: 08 Jul 2020 02:54 PM PDT Would there be any mention of life on the surface, or was everyone in the vault just taught that the nukes killed everyone and they were the only people left? That seems like it would fit well with the whole "nobody ever leaves the vault" stuff. How many pre war things would have been taught? Would students learn that they lived in what was once the United States surrounded by what was once Washington DC? Would they have been taught basic US history? What about world history? How are Legion towns/cities run? Posted: 08 Jul 2020 05:18 AM PDT Let's say hypothetically a town or village (with a functioning leadership/mayor in most cases) is occupied and annexed by Caesar's Legion. How exactly would said settlement be run? Who would soldiers guarding the town answer to? Would a Centurion or multiple be ordered to 'run' the day to day affairs? Would the previous leadership of the town be ordered to step aside and directly answer to Legionnaire, or would the Legion largely have a hands-off approach besides giving orders? We know Legion cities exist like Flagstaff, Tucson and Denver; and endings of NV indicate they don't slaughter and enslave all the residents of towns they conquer (take Primm, which remains stable but under watchful eye) - so when it comes to leadership, who runs what and who (aside from Caesar) do they answer to? Even in towns where things aren't really run without mayors (I.e. Goodsprings or Novac), how are things run when the soldiers make it their home? [link] [comments] |

Why in fnv do the bos use t-51 and not t-60 Posted: 08 Jul 2020 05:12 PM PDT Why in fnv do the bos use t-51 and not t-60. In all fallout the bos use t-60 power armor but in fnv they use t-51. [link] [comments] |
Why didn’t the pre war USA use holograms to fight China? Posted: 08 Jul 2020 04:42 AM PDT Father Eligah's plan in Dead Money is to use the holograms from the Sierra Madre to be his own personal army and to attack people who threaten him. Why didn't the USA use this tactic? An army of ultra powerful, invincible soldiers would probably come in handy, right? [link] [comments] |
What happened to the Followers of The Apocalypse? Posted: 08 Jul 2020 06:50 AM PDT In all honesty the followers are the only Fallout faction I really like. The NCR are a bunch of corrupt bureaucrats, Mr. House is a selfish exploiter with delusions of grandeur, the Enclave are genocidal lunatics, the brotherhood under Maxon isn't much better than The Enclave, the Institute are slave driving, intellectually and morally lazy, the Railroad have no vision for actually helping the Wasteland and the Minutemen are an unstable, disorganised band of volunteers. The Followers seem to be the only group in the whole wasteland with any sense, so what's happened to them? Where are they in FO4's time? [link] [comments] |
