Posted: 06 May 2020 08:17 AM PDT Hi All, So I'm about to be transferred next week to a village for around 3 months and i couldn't bring my PC along with me, on that time i'll be stuck with my old ass laptop (i7-4710 8 GB Ram and GTX 950m). So is there any graphical mods or fixes that are friendly to my laptop? Thanks beforehand... [link] [comments]

I fucking love ncr and legion soldiers in New Vegas Posted: 05 May 2020 04:14 PM PDT I know it's maybe a tad of an overstatement but there's something to them I can't shake You see them while you play casually walking accross the map rifle in hands commenting about how they're sick of patrolling this damn desert again and again You stumble upon them at several places and learn the politics of the whole thing, how there's this big war about a dam and there's presidents and armies and shit So you figure it's important stuff going on and you try to like, carefully consider how you choices impacts them, you play favourite, you know And then one day you're casually walking up the road between Novac and Helios one and you hear gunshots You see it's NCR soldier, one taking cover behind an old truck and one crouching on the middle of the road shooting at something in the distance Two dudes wearing roman soldier cosplay are running straight towards the bullets holding machetes and launching spears So they hurl insults at each other and fight until somebody's head explodes or someone else get mauled to death with machetes I mean there must be something to it because then it hits you How many of these guys are there ? You saw those a fair couple of time, sometimes two, even three of them patrolling around at at time I mean, they can't be more than fifty to a hundred of them in the whole area Same for the roman encampement guys, there's what, twenty, twenty-five of these guys in there at any time NCR bases operate with something like five to six people in them, there's more officers than soldiers in there So you start imagining two random dudes patrolling accross the entire desert alone most of the time only talking to complain about it Then they see the roman ones and it's immédiately war, they kill each other, no question asked Then the victorious party just straight up starts walking away calmly like it's no big deal while the other lays dead on the ground You start asking questions I mean, when you see it this way the NCR starts to look like some kind of southwestern late afternoon mid barbecue beer raid gone wrong or something And the legion sometimes honestly just feel like one bad lsd batch away from being a thing you know There's just two groups of less than a hundred dudes wearing uniforms and playing war against each other in the ruins of long destroyed cities It's perfectly absurd and looks like something from Monty Python, it's like a perfect nod to the absurdity of war Because when you imagine it with way more people involved it starts to make more sense [link] [comments]

Fix for swapped races in modded NV Posted: 06 May 2020 09:33 AM PDT So I installed New Vegas redesigned 3 and everything went well. First I went to the NCRCF where I met Dawes, weird, I probably misremembered his skin tone but then after meeting mega pale Johnson Nash I figured something was wrong. What's the proper load order for it and the FCOMaster to prevent this? [link] [comments]
Posted: 06 May 2020 09:27 AM PDT So I've played Fallout New Vegas for years on Xbox One, and have easily finished half a dozen playthroughs. Recently, however, the game will crash upon trying to use the load or save functions. If it was a corrupted save file, then the game wouldn't break using the save feature. I've uninstalled the game and add-ons multiple times, but no results. Out of curiosity, I wondered if anyone else had similar issues, and how they managed to solve the problem if they did. Has anyone encountered this before? [link] [comments]
Posted: 06 May 2020 09:16 AM PDT So i am playing FONV on PS3. Just downloaded Lonesome Road and have completed all other DLC on this playthrough (only 60ish hours right now). I know adding DLC has a history of damaging performance, but rn when i play LR i only get 5 minutes in before frame rate severely dips into single digit. Is the Ultimate Edition better equipped to run w/ all DLC since its written on the disc? [link] [comments]
a mod to make lucky 38 less depressing Posted: 06 May 2020 01:28 AM PDT more lights, more colours, any recommendations? [link] [comments]
