How are the BOS able to produce their own power armor? Posted: 21 May 2020 05:51 AM PDT According to Danse, the Brotherhood of Steel can produce it's own Power Armor. How? Every factory capable of doing so was leveled centuries ago (well, i assume so, do we any of any that did not crumple apart?) [link] [comments] |

Is Covenant from Fallout 4 meant to be bigger in more? Posted: 21 May 2020 08:33 PM PDT So I know that almost every settlement in the Fallout series is meant to bigger than it is due to game limitations. But is covenant included in this? I ask because I believe everyone there expect one "settler" is named, which gives me the impression that Bethesda only wanted covenant to be perceived as big as it is in the game. [link] [comments] |
Was Jason Bright alive pre-war? Posted: 21 May 2020 11:32 AM PDT I was thinking about how there aren't many post-war sentient ghouls in New Vegas, and realized I didn't remember any dialogue stating Jason Bright, Harland, or any of the Bright Followers were alive pre-war. Any evidence or ideas as to whether they're pre-war or post-war ghouls? [link] [comments] |
On Bunker Fuel and the Fallout world fuel economy. Posted: 21 May 2020 09:57 PM PDT For those of you who don't already know, bunker fuel in the US is the heaviest fraction of oil obtained from crude refining; it's kind of like the petroleum equivalent of the grainy slurry at the bottom of a cup of coffee. IRL, this substance was and is still used as fuel for ships (including cruise liners) due to its low cost, although its sheer density and many impurities means it's quite polluting both when burnt and when accidentally spilled. However, for a time in the 50's and 60's, its low cost was seen as such a huge benefit that some industries considered using it as a cheaper and easier to find fuel source than gas or diesel. It was even used to power special turbine-driven trains in the western states. So, given that the tech culture of Fallout doesn't seem to care much for the environmental problems that made bunker fuel fall out of favor, is it out of the question that it'd be a useful alternative during the resource scarcity periods before the Great War? Are supermutants capable of having sex ? Posted: 21 May 2020 09:35 AM PDT As far as I know, the FEV virus not only makes supermutants sterile, but it also wipes out all their secondary sex characteristics (breasts in females, body hair in males...etc.) but does it also effect their genitalia l ? Like does it cause atrophy in them causing them to shrivel up and "die" ? Do they all look like Ken dolls down there ? Or is it more like a WH40K space marine thing where the supermutants now just no longer fee the drive to have sex anymore ? As far as I know there is that supermutant that makes a bed with the chosen one and if the chosen one loses they become his "gimp" for the night, and after that the prostitutes around New Reno would comment something like "I figured you'd still be bleeding from what he's done to you" whenever the chosen one passes by, but as far as I know that's the only example in the fallout universe of supermutants being sexually active. So do we actually know if they are capable of having sex or feeling a sexual drive ? Does it differ between the vault 87, Mariposa and Institute mutants ? [link] [comments] |
