    After bringing the parts to Chris for the mission "Come fly with me" I decided killing him before he do it himself. But after finishing the quest the game transports automatically Chris to Novac either alive... or dead.

    I was watching his video about Lily Bowen (companion of Fallout New Vegas). At the end he said letting her do half dose is the best choice. I wouldn't mind if he could give a valid argument for it but basically what he said was:

    "She should be able to do whatever she wants because it's her body and mind and we don't have any right to say or do anything to her about it." (I'm paraphrasing)

    Now, this almost sound like those anti-vax people who thinks what they're doing to themselves is the best for them because they read a couple of studies of their liking in the internet.

    This can be right under right circumstances as people do have the right of some bodily autonomy. But these words does not bear any value in places that are not Developed countries. where disease are rampant and lacks sanitation, clean drinking water. I've seen myself the effect of mandatory vaccination in my country. A couple of decades ago people were careless about it and now even the most hardcore religious parents take their kids to vaccinate.

    Now these phrases like "lack of drinking water" or "proper sanitation" sound familiar ?? Yes, these are the exactly the same situation of the Wasteland of Fallout Universe.

    Why am I talking so much about other craps while Lily is just a Psychiatric Patient ?? Well, contrary to what Oxhorn said, Yes some people are smarter and better knowledgeable than others. They make better decisions, for themselves and others. That's why we choose one leader to lead rather than breaking into an Anarchy.

    Lily is a patiant of a specialist who gave her treatment for her mental illness. But she reduced the dosage because it makes her memory fuzzy. Now we can not completely go on with her logic. Because as she is a schizophrenic, her judgement is compromised. We should treat her so that she can start a new life. Or at least live better as who she is now.

    But the biggest drawback is she loses her past identity. The memories of her vault dweller life. But is this what we should let her chase ?? The memory has severe trauma attached to it. Death of her entire family and friend circle, including her grandchildren. Memory of her becoming a Mutant, seeing others becoming mutant. Memories of War. Any one of them can trigger severe PTSD case. Can her fragile mind can take all of it be okay ??

    Now as for the ending. She heads to east, leaving the side of Courier. She's taking half her doses. Do you think the path is risk free ?? The raider attack can cause her to frenzy and kill innocent. Or maybe get herself killed because the people may not be as welcoming to her as expected.

    I'm not saying it's all out of the question and only one of the endings are most moral. But how Oxhorn came to conclusion is what bugged me.

    Leaving Novac for the Strip...

    I've been using Novac's motel as my 'apartment' while wandering the mojave... For like, a couple of in-game months... maybe a year??? I wasn't really keeping track, but trust me when I tell you it was a long-ass time. I kept all of my gear there, slept there, ect...

    Well, I recently went to the Strip and entered the Lucky 38... Giving me access to the presidential suite. I chose to move everything and everyone (all my companions) to the suite, but I won't lie... It was really heartbreaking to stand in the motel room one last time :(

    I've played this game dozens of times, but for some reason that moment had a lot of emotion behind it... Cause I knew I'd never have a reason to go back there... I don't know if anyone else ever felt this way 'leaving' Novac, but damn... It hit me hard...

    Sneak 100

    So I'm pretty sure by now that sneak is more or less, how should I put this, utterly useless.

    I have 100 in sneak, all the sneak related perks, light armor, level 22 (although I have other characters that are max level and they have the same issue), no pip boy light or radio on and I get detected outside, inside doesn't matter.

    Meanwhile, I watch some videos of people just running circles around NPCs while the [hidden] indicator remains unchanged. How is this possible?

    In Skyrim I understand as that game is exploitable as fuck but in NV? How?

    Everytime I need to get closer to NPCs I have to use a stealth boy (I started farming them from legion rep). NPCs don't usually detect me at long range (sometimes) but if I get close (like 20 or 30 meters) it gets to caution and 1 second later to danger.

    I'm not even going to get into the DLCs and the whole NPCs perception they have.

    It's driving me crazy. I can't find a solution to this. The wiki also doesn't help.

    If I have 100 in sneak and I equip armor that gives a bonus to sneak, does that add up past the 100 limit? Because that's about the thing that might make a difference.

    And if it adds up, does it work the same way with every other skill?

    I don't know anymore.

    Does anyone else have this problem or did I just miss something and am simply a retard?

    I was today years old (23) when I realised The Strips Credit check doesn’t take away 2000 caps..

    I've been playing the game on and off for years since release for Xbox then PC. I just realised that that the robot only checks you if have 2000, and that it doesn't take 2000 caps.. this whole time I've been using the kings only favour to get into the strip cause I thought it took 2000 caps off me.. I feel so dumb.

    I’ll be honest, I just finished fallout 4 and came back to NV

    And I realized that NV power armour designs fucking suck. They're skinny as hell, and they look like metal clothing with a light-up head. Fallout 4 PA is a fucking TANK that looks and feels like a vehicle, you feel indestructible, and you're like two feet taller. I'm sorry but I can't even look at NV power armour anymore.

    I love playing the DLCs but my main problem with them is you can never go back to main game whenever you want. It's been awhile since I've played the DLCs so I don't remember if any of the other DLCs allow you to go back. Like how long till I can start running stuff back to Harpers shack from Utah?!?

    just downloaded fnv (best fallout, not sorry) again on my laptop so i can re-experience this 8 years on. however, i cannot get past this mini start up box after pressing play; the play button gets brighter indicating i clicked, and it stays like that. followed by an hourglass cursor, and windows' 'not responding' pop up. tried to verify game files, and run as administrator, hasn't fixed. anybody know of any fix? ryzen 7 3500 nvidia 1660 ti windows 10
