Did the Vault City join the NCR? Posted: 16 Apr 2020 10:10 PM PDT I was wondering as I finished my 5th play through of Fallout 2, and wanted to know if they joined the NCR in cannon. [link] [comments] |
Are there any raiders that aren't bad? Posted: 16 Apr 2020 04:33 AM PDT I know there are some that are drug-addled and cannibalistic, and almost all are hostile to outsiders, but are they really horrible people? I assume I'll learn more when I get to the Nuka-World content, but I'm curious. [link] [comments] |
Brotherhood of Steel & Enclave - eastward March Posted: 16 Apr 2020 11:14 PM PDT Do you think Lyons would have been tasked with checking on Appalachia while making his way to the DC ruins? The automated nuke silo's and checking to see what happened to the Scorch beast's and Taggardy's outfit? Same question applies to the enclave as well, modus and the white springs bunker were nearer than Eden and the raven rock bunker? U think we will get any lore On it as we keep going forward or just a missed opportunity? [link] [comments] |
Does marijuana (or it's irradiated equivalent) exist post-war? Posted: 16 Apr 2020 04:54 AM PDT All the drugs you see are IV or pills. Surely if people are still smoking cigarettes there's a joint or two out there? [link] [comments] |

Does anyone have a translation of the stuff that the captain of the Yangtze says? Posted: 16 Apr 2020 11:54 PM PDT The captain of the Yangtze in FO4 says some Chinese words alongside English ones. It tends to be nouns, judging by grammar patterns. Does anyone have any translations for these? It would be interesting to find out if the Chinese have a nickname for the Great War, or for ghouls or something. [link] [comments] |

Is there any lore about prewar museums Posted: 16 Apr 2020 12:20 PM PDT Certain museums that can be explored have a mix of ancient and recent history [link] [comments] |
How much has the climate changed post war? Posted: 16 Apr 2020 10:23 AM PDT I would assume that nuclear explosions would most likely heat up the atmosphere and make the climate generally hotter overall but do we know exactly what the climate in various wastelands would be? I'm sure California and the Mojave are probably way hotter than before as it's all desert and dry. I've only been to Boston once in the summer but I would assume that since the game begins in the fall it would at least be somewhat chilly? Half the npcs wear full on parkas and ushanka hats and the other half wear tank tops and even Cait complains about the heat. I know DC gets pretty cold but it looks really hot in fallout 3 but I could be wrong. Appalachia has an autumn theme and looks pretty chilly but idk the climate of West Virginia very well.
