Posted: 21 Apr 2020 10:39 PM PDT My idea is to spend much of the game using small guns and sneak. Eventually using some big guns, which i never have, and later energy weapons. I am contemplating wether I want to change points between endurance and luck because I don't really like to tank it. I put PE at 4 so I don't have to wait as long for certain perks. I place a lot of value in Vats accuracy, critical hits, and sneak attacks. I will likely use some perks that increase skills but I didn't list them because that's more situational. I will eventually probably max lockpick and get a few other skills higher for quests etc but I have listed the main skills i plan to use. Str- 4 (+1 from bobblehead) PE- 4 (+2 from bobblhead, ant quest) End- 8 CH - 1 Int- 9 Agl- 9 Luck-5 (+1 from bobblehead) Tags: Small Guns, Repair, Sneak Important Skills: Small guns, Repair, Sneak, Big Guns, Energy Weapons Important Perks Scrounger [link] [comments] |
Posted: 22 Apr 2020 12:10 AM PDT Hello. In the past I played a lot Fallout 1 & 2 and recently I finally had time to finish Fallout 3 GOTY, which was an awesome game and a great successor of the whole series. I was looking forward for New Vegas, as it had a better rating and I read a lot of praise about the game, albeit nothing specific. Then I started to play, but after 2-3 hours I feel like the the game pretty boring. Unlike the original Fallouts, the story does not interest me and I don't like the western design of the game. I don't like casinos too, Caravan game is somehow clumsy and I am missing the older Fallouts. So my question, will it get better after I spend more time playing? I am not sure if it's worth to continue, or I can just skip that one and continue with Fallout 4. [link] [comments] |
Posted: 21 Apr 2020 10:23 AM PDT So some people may have been thinking about the fact that most Lone Wanderers are female and have messy red hair and I think I know why. I have an idea, after going on Tumblr for some Fallout 3 fanart I found something that filled mind full of memories, like I was a sleeper agent. It Cywren Caster fanart, ring a bell? No? Well she thr character the YouTuber VenturianTale had in his playthrough of Fallout 3. The most important part however, is that she was popular back in mid early 2010's, almost like a household name. Her hair was short, hastily styled, and bold red. Maybe the reason people are making their character have messy red hair, is because deep down they feel comfort and nostalgia for something that they can't quite put their finger on. So that was my theory, let me know what you think! Please tell if you remember Cywren Caster [link] [comments] |
Survey on avatars and gaming... I'd appreciate your help :) Posted: 21 Apr 2020 11:21 PM PDT Hi everyone! 🙂 Are you stuck at home and feel like helping out some gaming researchers to potentially win a prize? I would be really grateful if you could please complete my survey for my Master's thesis on the importance of avatars. It should take about 10 minutes. https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/RSRYKKH I'm interested in how we interact with our gaming avatar/character and how much it matters to the gaming experience. You can complete the survey regardless of the type of avatar you mainly use (e.g., it can be a human, car, animal, alien… anything)! There are standard psychological questions about the way you think/act, and some questions about your general gaming habits. You will go in the draw to win a $50 AUD Coles/Myer voucher. Thank you for reading my post and (hopefully) completing the survey! [link] [comments] |
