    Fallout NV keeps crashing and bricks computer

    I'll keep it short and sweet. After an hour to an hour twenty of playing, NV crashes and stops access to my pc. When it crashes, I can't access any other programs, I can force stop it, nothing. This wouldn't be much of a problem if it didn't brick my pc, the only way I can fix it is mìby force-quitting it by the button. Please help. (it has happened 2 times)

    I need help

    I would love to enjoy FNV but my game won't save whatsoever. I'll manually save as soon as I finish taking over good springs but if I look into my loads 5 mins later it'll say I have 0/1000 saves used. I want to enjoy this game so much but I can't if all of my progress is deleted while I'm playing. Anyone have any tips?

    When i took her to her gala part i immediately clicked a dialogue with '[]' on it thinking it's a skill check, turns out it's the terrifying presence perk dialogue and that made her turn against me.... I only realized this far too late when i got to meet her at the casino.....

    Am i fucked? Are there no command to change her disposition towards my character?

    Do you absolutely need NVSE to install a ENB?

    I want to do a sniper character and a sort of cowboy gunslinger character for my next two playthroughs, so I wanted to know what the best builds/gear would be for those?

    Obviously I'd need guns as a tag skill and a high perception, but what other skills, traits, SPECIAL, gear, etc would I need for those?

    Edit: forgot to mention that I currently don't have the dlc installed on my xbox but I will try to get them installed soon. So for right now I'm mainly looking for non dlc builds.

    VATS Accuracy dropping with distance too quickly?

    So earlier I made a post about my accuracy being way lower than it should be in New Vegas. I was meeting the requirements of the weapons I was using, and even while under the effects of Steady I was still getting >40% in VATS within 10 feet of the target.

    I think I've narrowed it down to my VATS accuracy dropping too quickly with distance. I'll be within 3 feet at 95% hit chance, and I take a step back about one foot in length and now I'm at 55% hit chance. Does anybody know why this is happening?

    Aiming down sights help

    forgive me if this is either obvious or if I can't explain this well. How do you change the ADS camera to where the gun doesn't take up most of the screen. I've seen this on several game play videos where people will aim and target with the reticle rather than the iron sights on the gun. Is this a mod or a changeable setting?

    No mods but HUD Bugs?

    I have HUD bugs. Oh boy, do I have HUD bugs.

    First, VATS is almost always at 0% to hit on all weapons. Grenades and melee (thrown or otherwise) seem to work appropriately, but everything else is just 0%, always. That's low priority compared to the others though.

    Second, the HUD will randomly stop appearing if I face the wrong direction. Specifically, the HUD, my equipped weapon, and everyones hair will disappear if if I look one direction, but come back pointing another. It seems to change with loading transitions, and is more common outdoors than in.

    Third, worst and most recently: I load a game and the screen is all black EXCEPT for the HUD. This happens alongside the last issue, so If I swing around the hud will pop in and out.

    None of these happened when I started playing: I just started the battle of Hoover Dam, and would really like to finish the game. It isn't save dependent, though - earlier saves have the same bad behavior. Does anyone have any ideas? I guess my next move is to back up my save and re-install, but I'm wondering if there's an easier option.

    Everyone else to have these issues seems to blame mods, but I don't.

    EDIT: LInux. Playing through Linux. REally should have remembered to specify that.
