Why does Mr. House wait 200 years to begin his plans? Posted: 09 Feb 2020 03:33 PM PST I was reading the fallout fandom wiki timeline for the games, and the first mention of him after the bombs drop and he saves new vegas is in 2274, when he "begins renovations" on vegas. I understand that the radiation probably killed all the residents of las vegas, but people were out of the vaults long before Mr. House opens new vegas. He could have used his securitrons during those 200 years to conquer nearby facilities, like hoover dam. [link] [comments] |
Posted: 09 Feb 2020 09:42 AM PST I saw an older post here with the same question, but it was old and shut and I couldn't make a point there. In Far Harber we learn that DiMA made a synth of Avery. In the tapes we find the female voice on there is young and un gravely. The Avery we meet is old(er) and has a husk to her voice. Giving the impression that she has grown. I have read about Shawn staying a child forever, and some people brought up Danse, but both are special circumstances. I'm asking about just the regular everyday Gen 3 synth. If they're supposed to blend in with humans so seamlessly, wouldn't seeming immortal be a red flag to those around them? [link] [comments] |
Why did the Institute program synths to be sentient? Posted: 09 Feb 2020 03:41 AM PST It just seem really idiotic to me, if you want them to be slaves and spies, why give them the ability to have a mind of their own? Hell, they even made it so that Coursers are sentient as well [link] [comments] |
