- What exactly are “tribals”?
- We know some lore on who the Mistress of Mystery’s was in The Unstoppable’s comics, but what do we know of the backstory of the other four?
- How is vault tec's reputation through out all of the fallout games?
- Where is big sal from?
Posted: 08 Dec 2019 03:16 PM PST A ton of groups in the West (NV, New California) are referred to as tribals. I understand this literally means they are a tribe of people, but in game they appear functionally equivalent to raiders or small settlements. Why is Novac not tribal, but Boomers are? Why are the more peaceful and settled raiders (Powdergangers) not tribal? The White Legs aren't just raiders? I vaguely remember some important tribes in NV formed in Zion when lost children grew together in the wild... but that isn't the case of the Boomers and doesn't seem likely that all tribes formed this way. Is there an actual qualifier that makes groups tribal? Like, is it just people who isolate themselves and form a distinct culture? Or is it more a generic "barbarian" label for raiders who aren't always psychopaths? Do raiders become tribal when they form factions? [link] [comments] |
