(fo4) Mysterious serum implications (spoilers) Posted: 11 Feb 2021 11:51 PM PST I really love the cabot quests. I was however, wondering about the lore of the item and if it is implicated properly in the game (might make a mod from it). So the serum is supposed to give you well, immortality from natural means. Or at least expanded lifespan. It does not reverse aging, seing as how the woman cabots have grey hair but slows it, since they havenice skin. The fact the sole survivor can have an infinite supply of it makes him the most powerful protagonist, since he is now immortal. Can you imagine an institute sole survivor who was immortal? He would be a god like figure. In the game it gives you a massive buff of 5 strenght and a powerful rad removal effect, along with immunodeficiency. I dont think it should be like this. Imo it should give a permanent strength increase, health regeneration, and damage resistance. [link] [comments] |
Population of Pre War United States? Posted: 11 Feb 2021 05:35 AM PST This probably doesn't mean anything but during the fallout 3 release you could call the vault ted number and they'd say there was 900 million people on hold which seems a bit unrealistic. What was the true population of pre war US? [link] [comments] |
Thoughts of a retrofied MP7 to make it fit the Fallout lore? Posted: 11 Feb 2021 10:27 PM PST Imagine the MP7 with visual cues taken from H&K's 60s and 70s weapons and constructed from wood and steel but still familliar enough to be recognized as a faux MP7. Utilizing revolutionary armor piercing PDW cartridges, this revolutionary new weapon was made as a response for the German forces' need of a compact weapon that could pierce through body armor during the wake of the European Civil War. Maschinenpistole 70, the MP70. It could end up in American soil nearly 200 years later by having its schematics somehow partially recovered by Gun Runners post-war. German was not a language that was spoken and a partial amount of its schematic details could be lost to time. Also, what could this alien metric system of measurements be? The Gun Runners could improvise a little and mass produce significantly inferior and more crude imitations redesigned to chamber the more abundant 45. cal and 9mm rounds. [link] [comments] |
Is it possible for the Enclave to come back in a meaningful way? Posted: 11 Feb 2021 09:02 PM PST Obviously most of them are dead or scattered to the wind, but the group in Chicago seems to be of considerable size. Which begs the question, is it feasible for them to come back on the scene in a hypothetical Fallout 5? [link] [comments] |
Did any humans know about the aliens before the war? Posted: 11 Feb 2021 11:58 AM PST Surely with satellites and space stations someone would have noticed the aliens? There was a few alien power cells in old olney so someone had to have known [link] [comments] |

Posted: 11 Feb 2021 05:53 PM PST Something that I've been thinking about and trying to explain to myself over the past few days is the humble Mirelurk. What sort of creature are they exactly? The Mirelurk Queen, Hatchlings, Hunters, and plain ol' Mirelurk are all crustaceans of some sort. You can see clear influences from crabs, lobsters, and crawfish, among others. And then we get to the (terrifying) Mirelurk King, which is some sort of amphibian or reptile. A completely different species that is somehow interlinked, at least by name, with the other Mirelurks. So, how exactly is this possible? Is anyone else as perplexed by this as I am? [link] [comments] |
Perks related to your character personality Posted: 11 Feb 2021 05:32 PM PST Like does the old world gourmet perk make your character unironically enjoy pre war food or something? [link] [comments] |
