    It took me 3 times of restarting the game to make it finally clicked on me.

    idk why my first or second attempt didn't hit me. Maybe because of my backlogs, or my job, or just got bored and didn't stick with the game too long to fully enjoy it. I used to think that the setting was dull.

    This time I approached it with roleplay in mind. I am a gunslinger with a way with words. Currently doing the Boomers quest for NCR.

    I have been spoiling myself but I don't really care at this point. I'm enjoying the game and its atmosphere.

    Any mods that affect how movement feels?

    I've been playing New Vegas for a long time and one thing that's always bothered me is the movement. It just doesn't feel quite right. For me, good fluid movement is very important. More specifically I'm looking for Quake-like movement, and also the ability to control my character more in the air when I'm jumping.

    What sort of character arc do you make up for yourself in New Vegas?

    Personally, I have my courier start out as a madlad who does whatever it takes to survive. As he goes on however and finds himself in the middle of everything, he grows more lighthearted, going from an insane madlad hellbent on revenge to a wholesome madlad helping the Mojave in whatever way he can.

    Does anyone else start a new character, then about halfway through start thinking of and get excited about your next build and how you're going to roleplay with them?

    ED-E strange weight bug

    ED-E carry weight was reduced from 210 to 135 I discovered this today when I take one of guns to repair and when I want give it back to ED-E I got notification that ED-E can't carry more(it still had 135/135 after that) I loaded my older saves, and he had normal 210 weight only on save from yesterday morning when I return to Primm for him after he got laser upgrade there is any way to his weight mod except load save from yesterday morning and re-doing everything from yesterday ? I dont installed any mods during that time

    Tips to reduce stutters when loading distant objects?

    I followed the community modding guide, but didn't do the LOD section because I thought it would maybe cause performance issues. However when distant objects "pop in" there's always a few stutters that gets a little annoying. Are there ways to minimize stuttering when loading in distant objects?

    Downloaded the Playable Marceline, Mod, Now I Just Need a Character Build

    I'm trying to come up with a character build to go with this mod, but it's been years since I saw Adventure Time and I'm not 100% certain on what to do for it.

    I'm thinking high strength, endurance and agility would suit her, with melee as one of the tagged skills because she wields bass guitar axe (any mods that make guitars into a melee weapon would be appreciated.) Sneak as a tagged skill since I won't be likely to have stealth boys handy to simulate her invisibility powers and a third skill.

    I can't think of any traits that suit Marceline so I'd skip them.

    I'm happy to accept feedback on this incomplete build and suggestions for playstyles.

    fomm crash

    I just began to mod my game using Fallout Mod Manager, I had everything working perfectly as it seemed, but when I start up the game, it instantly crashes. I'm using the NVAC Anti crash, Character Overhaul, NMC's textures, FNV 4g patch, nvse beta and the someguy series. Does anybody know or might know what the problem may be?

    Unable to switch certain ammo types

    I've run into a bit of a weird bug and I was wondering if anyone had any ideas that I haven't thought of. With certain ammo types I'm unable to change from the base type to other variations. It's affecting all 12 gauge ammo aside from vanilla, optimized energy cells from GRA, and 5.56 hand load from GRA. With a 12 gauge shotgun I've tried dropping the gun, dropping the variations I can't switch to and dropping the vanilla ammo. I've tried saving and reloading and loading previous saves and they all seem to be affected now. None of the mods I have should be affecting ammo types and I haven't added or deleted any mods since before I became aware of this problem tonight. If anyone has any suggestions for fixes I would greatly appreciate it.

    Edit: it's working perfectly with other ammo types, it's only the ones I've specifically listed that I've noticed I'm having an issue with

    New Vegas Dead Money is really a torture to play

    1. I cannot see properly, I have adjusted the brightness settings to brightest.
    2. My eyes are really painful after playing.
    3. The buildings and levels LOOK almost the same, making every level repetitive and hard to move around.
    4. The collars are triggered to explode in contact of mere radio waves and Eiljah is a "genius" according to the BOS. People he sent die on droves is because of the flaws of his collars. The only people he can blame is himself and overestimating the prospectors or scavengers unlucky enough to meet this mad man.
    5. Is there a scientific reason to the mists? And we Fallout fans keep complaining about the reason behind the Glowing Sea in Fallout 4.l
    6. I am currently trapped at quest 6 of this dlc, I am now watching YouTube videos HOW TO MOVE AROUND IN THIS MAZE.
    7. This place should be a high class resort casino, if everything looks the same, how do you persuade the tourists to come back again?

    Wich Implant as last option (PER or LUCK)?

    So this is my third playthrough but i'm still in doubt and i have OWB,Dead Money and Lonesome Road left to do (I mention this because i remember both OWB and Dead Money have a few Perception Checks). My build is:

    S=6(With Implant)

    P=6

    E=7 (With Implant)

    C=1

    I=9 (With Implant)

    A=9 (With Implant)

    L=6

    Plus,I will get Sub-Dermal Implant

    I have one option left and am really in doubt if i should get Perception or Luck Implant

    Sneak speed buffs help.

    So there's three things I know of that buff sneak speed; the stealth suit, implant M-5 and the Tunnel Runner perk. I know the implant and the perk stack, but I cant find anything that says if the suit does as well.

    Can anyone tell me if it does? Cheers.
