    Im tired of seeing arguments about "Who is the Courier" "Did he really destroy the Divide?" "Is he really 30-40?" "He's an NCR Citizen" "He got a woman in Montana pregnant" its like you guys forgot that the courier is YOUR character, did YOUR courier destroy the Divide? Did YOUR courier lose his memory? Is YOUR courier a seasoned 40yr old who gets mad pussy? Is YOUR courier a long lost dad? Is YOUR courier actually the Lone Wanderer? Its why they didn't give you a backstory, just optional dialogue options for you to fill in the blanks yourself, can we please leave the arguments at that and move on?

    Does anyone know what is on this rigged terminal? It's in the basement of the REPCONN test site and it requires 45 explosive to disarm. I'm not doing an explosive build so I doubt I'll ever get that far

    I first played Dead Money when it released a decade+ ago and hated it.

    Part of my distaste in the DLC probably stems from the fact that I was under leveled and unprepared. Even so, I found the bullet sponge enemies, radios, explosive collars, and holograms, among many other things, incredibly frustrating and just not fun. I didn't care for the story or constant fetch quests for companions and it went down in my personal grade book of DLC assessments with low marks.

    This past weekend I replayed Dead Money. I was prepared this time around and went in prepared. And also perhaps with the right mindset of "letting go."

    My first play through I was woefully poor and unoptimized. I was trying to scrimp and save and scam my way to wealth. And so when the moment came to decide the individual fates of my allies, I treated them as disposable. When it came time to "let go" in the Sierra Madre's vault, I scammed my way out with every gold bar and Elijah locked away.

    It isn't a wonder I didn't like it as I went about the story completely wrong. This time around I got to know the three companions and understand how they worked and who they were. I saved them all, even if from themselves. (cough Dean...) I even got to understand Elijah a bit. I hunted down the story of the Sierra Madre and unlocked the secrets of this temple of revenge, affection unrequited, and greed.

    And when it came time to let go, I took a single gold bar as a memento to display in the Lucky 38.

    For all of the flowery text and gushing, Dead Money still had its moments of gameplay frustration. It's far from a perfect DLC, but the writing and characters and message are solid.

    I'm glad to have revisited it again, ten years later, a completely different man than I was the first time I failed to learn to let go.

    i'm getting a bug with arizona killer, idk how to fix this

    i get to hoover dam, and even tho i'm wearing an ncr uniform i get immediately recognized and killed, so i can't report to cato that i'm ready. i tried using a stealthboy, but still had problems. and the president doesn't show up anyway, so i can't kill him and skip that part of the quest. i checked the wiki and it said that this problem can come up when you reload a save during the mission, so reloading a save prior to the mission start probably won't work.

    what can i do?
