    What do the stimpaks do?

I mean, if you got shot, you just use a stimpak and keep walking? Or it closes the wound?

Why do you need a shotgun power fist when you can just use a shotgun

why would you be allowed to join the railroad when they consider the BOS their enemy?

    Posted: 21 Jul 2021 05:16 PM PDT

if you join the brotherhood prior to finding the railroad, deacon can make a comment when you first arrive that the player character is "one of the brotherhood's main knights". later after doing some quests for the railroad, desdemona will announce that the brotherhood is their enemy and they are devising a plan to get rid of them. i guess they somehow conveniently forgot YOU are part of the brotherhood.

Why does the institute not have any established army?

    Posted: 21 Jul 2021 05:46 PM PDT

I mean they have a small paradise in the wasteland and the cleanest place in the commonwealth, and even as the sole survivor calls it have a "secret police" so why dont the Institute have like a department of Defence or army. Because now there are just synths that looks like security roaming around the Institute and the commonwealth. They have no power armour, no support weapons, no vertibirds (wich a group like the Institute could repair) and no structure, there are no commanders or officers. They are just throwing them out in combat. And when the brotherhood came in with vertibirds then they should have brought in anti air weapons. And when they encountered power armour units then they should have brought in anti amour rifles (50 cal and gauss rifle) to combat that. Now they are just cannon fodder with themjust running into combat with their bad laser guns. The Institute whould have been much cooler if it where like this. And much harder to fight against. What do you think?

Vault Security, how are they trained ?

    Posted: 21 Jul 2021 10:54 PM PDT

Hey all, I've always been attracted to the various guardsmen and women as well as security forces in Bethesda games. That's being said, one thing I'm starting to find interesting is the security located in the vaults or "Vault Security"

Now, it's obvious these people would stand no real chance if say the Enclave or the Brotherhood of steel, or hell any of their kind of faction would bomb rush the vault, but given how many of them are I have to ask, how do you guys think they were trained ? I mean it may sound like a stupid question but I thought I'd ask.

Like, since the start of the Great War, do you think that the original vault security officers took people under their wing in order to train them or something ?

Would love to hear your inputs!

Brotherhood in the commonwealth before Danse

    Posted: 21 Jul 2021 11:36 PM PDT

We're there any Brotherhood of steel members in the commonwealth before paladin Danse and his team. Now I know about the lost patrol and paladin Brandis and his team I'm asking other than them.

Are the Vault 21 dwellers victims of Mr. House? Do they resent him?

    Posted: 21 Jul 2021 07:07 AM PDT

They way I see it, they are a victim of imperialism. Granted; we don't have a lot of former residents to talk to, but Sarah Weintraub describes the place as being a pretty happy, healthy and successful place in its heyday. But then they were told they had to up and leave the only home they ever knew.. why? Because House won some dumb blackjack game? Then he would go on and fill it up with concrete because he's a paranoid bastard? Is there anywhere to learn about the consequences of this event other than Sarah?
