Can a Power Armor operate in space? Posted: 01 Jul 2021 07:02 AM PDT Since those armours can protecct the pilot from radiation, attacks with most weapons and fall damage, I was wondering if they also can protecct the pilot from the dangers of the space vaccum, or even using them in a mission in another planet. Why Do We Find Ghouls In Graveyards? Posted: 30 Jun 2021 06:50 PM PDT Why is it we find many ghouls loitering around cemeteries in the games? Were they attracted by the smell? I doubt they originated from them. [link] [comments] |
Why is it that the entire idea of being an 'American' is gone in the Wasteland? Posted: 30 Jun 2021 07:07 AM PDT Wouldn't something traumatic like a nuclear war make people hold onto their cultural identity more as opposed to less? Isn't literally everyone either a descendent of a Vault dweller or a ghoul? Even the NCR doesn't see itself as a continuation of the United States. It just has similar values. [link] [comments] |
There's little to no sign of (human) slavery in the Commonwealth, is there a reason for that? Posted: 30 Jun 2021 10:44 AM PDT Why is there little to no sign of slavery in the Commonwealth? Ok, you may say that the synths are slaves and all, but you can barely see any sign of slavery as we've seen in the Capital Wasteland. There were plenty of slaves in FO3, there's even an entire town of slaves. But in FO4 all you get are subtle hints, as in the boy in the fridge quest. Giving that there's no central power in the Commonwealth that might have ruled out slavery and considering its proximity with locations heavily based on slavery (like the pitt or even the capital Wasteland), why there's not even a direct mentioning of slaves in FO4? Is there any more explanation or did Bethesda preferred to focus the railroad in liberating synths instead of real slaves? [link] [comments] |

Posted: 30 Jun 2021 11:11 AM PDT Even by pre-war/real life standards the place is one of the best to live naturally, with plenty of clean, non-irradiated food and water and with a good climate and beautiful scenary. Obviously it still has plenty of post-war threats in the form of irradiated animals and violent humans but not really more than other areas. I know that if I was living in a barren, arid desert like the Mojave and had learned or even traveled to a place like Zion I would sure as hell prefer to live there, even if it means becoming a mormon. Posted: 30 Jun 2021 04:52 PM PDT Hello everyone, was the Pip-Boy 2000 (mark I) commercially available to the public before the bombs went off? The wiki said "Travelers" used them... I know it wasn't a collaboration between RobCo and Vault Tec (due to the RobCo mascot being on the Pip-Boy), but the Pip-Boy 2000 Mk VI has the original RobCo mascot, and residents of Vault 13 and 15 were provided with them... I'm confused? Also, was the Pip-Boy 2000 Mk I fastened on an arm with just a strap or with a metal wrist brace? Thank you! [link] [comments] |
