Elijah is described by Veronica and others as being nothing short of a technological wizard. He can make anything work. The Pip-Boy (for the Fallout universe) is an incredibly advanced, useful, and... rather benign piece of tech. It isn't a weapon. It's more similar to wrist-mounted iPad.

Does Elijah (and the Brotherhood at large, to some extent) hate all old world technology? Does Elijah simply feel that RobCo is beneath him, or is this indicative the Brotherhood disliking old world tech in general?
